We picked a song for each on our 25th, and this is what I picked for him. He chose "First Time Ever I Saw Your Face". Am I blessed or what? Anyway, we recently celebrated our 39th. Every time I hear this song, I think back to that and say, yep, your still the one, and always will be!

Hi Daniel: Yes, true. Both Wells and Larry were both serious musicians, but also fun to be around and work with. They both had a lightness about them, and were good humored. Unfortunately, for those who cared for them, and the world of music, they both passed away far too soon.

@@douglasdegraff8335 We did a lot of shows with Rusty and Poco in recent years. But the years are taking their toll. We still enjoy working with our peers in Firefall, Pure Prairie League, etc. and the wealth of talent on the annual Rock & Romance Cruises.

No, they didn't. It was used in 77 and 79, not 76. You can find the promos here on RU-vid. And ABC didn't pick it in 77. The late, great Harry Marks had the inspiration for the 77 spot on his own and produced the promo before showing it to ABC execs because ABC had said they couldn't afford to finance a promo campaign for the 77 season. They loved it and had Marks continue, but they ruined it by insisting that the stars of their shows appear in the following years, which made them a lot more expensive (and hokey, with lots of mugging for the camera).

Highly appreciated session works guitarist/stylist over the early seventies time period, during which being contributing session guitarplaying for other performing and recording artists was his main musical (lifeboat) activity to build up reputation in music/artists world of u.s. and during that period his own cooperation in band setting together with the talented Hoppen brothers became in paralel lanes more and more manifest, important and time/energies absorbing as (semi)pro musician. His contributions on the 1972 Bonnie Raitt album (several tracks) with the purple color cover sides and 'Been Too long at the Fair' at it, were simply put "fabulous and fantastic". He was in great luck of life circumstances that his then lady Johanna was such a talented co-songwriter as well, which gave songs on lyrics depth and dimensions so much extra sensivity, natural grace and sweetness/purity on emotional loads through choice of strings of words and rhyming words on sounds connect as if near to ideal.
