In the summer of 1988 I was an Englishman on my first visit to NY. On arrival and en route by bus from JFK to The Big Apple; the first person I saw that I recognised was Sting - walking from another terminal to a limo. I was so excited, but couldn’t get off the bus to greet my fellow countryman. A true but frustrating tale as I was heavily into ‘Bring on the Night’ at the time. C’est la vie. 🥶🙏🇬🇧🥶

Thanks Bob. I would have asked Sting for a lift into town (honestly), but my rucksack was in the cargo hold of the bus. I really was jumping up and down with frustration! Stay safe and warm.🥶🙏🇬🇧🥶

Two unforgettable songs by Sting. This may be part of his earlier solo work, and he did a lot of stuff after this, but it's etched in our minds since then. Pristine sound, as you accustomed us. 👌 I never heard about this "Best Of" before, nice yellow label, a good match to my yellow Exact. 😄

Hi Rui. Yes you need a copy for your Exact! By 1994 - when this was issued - I was well into buying CDs, but I couldn't resist this one on vinyl ;o)

Hi Bob, I had some technical problems with my computer and have not been able to watch new videos or produce them. But I'm back. This is a great album, maybe one of Sting's best songs. I've never seen the yellow label on this album, the sound is top-notch as usual. ✨👍

Hello, I own a Graham Slee Reflex M with Elevator Exp driving a Dynavector XX2. I wanted to switch to membership. I ask you if you have heard any differences between Accession MC and Accession MM along with Elevator EXP. Thank you.

Hi Vincenzo. For my ears there are subtle improvements in the Accession MC over the MM version plus EXP. I would suggest that if you can take advantage of the free loan scheme run by the Graham Slee forum then borrowing an Accession MC to put in your own system for a couple of weeks would be the way to hear if it makes an improvement for you. I can guess that this cart Shelter 5000 is on the warm side and is not analytical enough. It's maybe because of this stylus tip or maybe this cart' stylus is old and time to replace.
