This is my favourite song. I can hear it for hours. It makes me feel the joy of my true love and the sadness to have lost her. Despite it's been 10 years I still love her and I know I'll love her forever
Before I had married with my wife we spent a long time separated each other with another persons, but I couldn't forget her. So I dedicated her this song, 11 years ago. Don't ask me how (it is a very long story) but now, with 10 years as spouses and with two beautiful daughters we remember this song with love, and we love each other more with every day. We both were inmature, only thinking by ourselves. It was extremely easy that people kept us appart each other quickly, and we finally decided divorced us, and she begun a new relationship with another person. But actually we still fell in love, only separated by our own pride, as the time to sign our papers for divorce was coming faster than we imagined. My mother, however, gave me a Virgin Mary's such as a final attenpt to gather us (Perú is a extremely catholic country, we both are too), and when I wished her my best regards asking her take care for herself, and offer her this special gift she started to cruzadas AND told me: "I prayed to Virgin Mary for a sign, and she has given it to me right now", and for once in her life she apologized , me too obviously. That night we conceive our first daughter against all ods (we had tried previously for over 2 years). The rest is history ...

Every time I hear this song, it reminds of the two people I loved, was loved and lost both. Beautiful memories of light, tenderness and laughing. Now I believe, this must have been fate. Feeling love and loosing love, but having so much of joy in my life. Only god knows, if one day another man will again turn around and say the precious words "I love you", gratest gift of all 💙
Loved this song and I even had the opportunity to see Sting and "The Police" live in Portugal some years ago. It is something I will never forget because probably we will never see the group together again. Sting solo career is amazing and it is my favourite singer since the beginning.
