▬▬ THIS WEEK ▬▬
A fully jam packed episode! We jet off to Mo’orea and are absolutely stunned by the beauty of the island. In fact we are so stunned that we lose a little focus and… well, you know what they say “There is 3 kinds of sailors: those who have run aground, those who haven’t YET and those who lie about it”
There were so many highlights of Mo’orea and at the top of the list is the friendly stingrays who were ready to jump up for a back scratch! Come get an up close look at life on the hook in Mo’orea

▬▬ OUR STORY ▬▬
We are a multigenerational sailing channel with 2 boats and 1 collective dream of crossing oceans.
Meet Mick, Kate and their 2 boys Thomas and Bentley aboard Meraki a Stan Huntingford Explorer 45. An Aussie/Canadian family who dreamed of living life differently and took the leap into sailing life during COVID and have never looked back. Sailing from beautiful BC, Canada down to Mexico and then across the Pacific, through the South Pacific islands onwards to Australia and BEYOND!
You'll also get to know Kevin and Shawna (parents to Kate) aboard M2 a TransPac 49'. They've had had a lifelong dream to sail the world and are currently in the Caribbean with big plans to transit the Panama Canal very soon!
While the original goal was to be visiting anchorages together, life had different plans. With one boat being purchased in the Pacific NorthWest and the other acquired in the Caribbean we've been waiting out Hurricane season in separate Oceans.. but the reunion is going to be OH, SO, SWEET!
Explore the world through our eyes on our sailboat adventure of a lifetime! Let us take you with us on this journey to the next destination.
If you love adventure and want to see more you're in the right place.

Congrats on the new Drone. The picture quality is noticeably different and BETTER (than Nirvana’s drone). Wow. It sure pays to upgrade. I’m loving the picture quality.

Yeah, you're in one of the amazingist places on Earth. New drone-- yay. And suddenly a crisis... but fellow cruisers always ready to assist! Your drone then reveals the beauty of this dream island... such marvelous hills and bays below. How sweet of the resident sharks and rays, being so friendly. Nice footage. Aww, downer that you got pushed out of that nice anchorage. More good times to come tho. Thanks for sharing.

more like shark city, hand fed friendly. i visited this area as a kid with my grandparents back in the 70s some of the outer islands still practiced shark burials for high ranking Kahuna and the black tips were held in reverence as ancestors. illegal even then i've always wondered if still practiced. the south pacific is a gorgeous area to sail.

Very good video. It seems unfortunate to travel that far and not be able to have to rush
