Thank you so much for the review and the feedback of the drone! I am going to do some change to make it better! New StingerBee will be send out ASAP! Great to hear you like it! ❤
Congrats on being a dad! I've got a 3.5" Volador that I ended up running all my old 1300 -1500 mah 4s packs on. It really carries momentum when I throw it over trees and such. It's nice to have a use for my old batteries, and it flies a lot like a 5".
Sup Stingy! Congrats on the baby - thanks for the review of the Stinger Bee. With the advent of RID restrictions, I think 3-3.5" drones will be rising in popularity. I expect a lot of innovation at this size/weight class and I'm looking forward to seeing more continual improvements like we've seen in 5" over the last few years. I'm currently running Botgrinder's Grinderino frame as a DD with a Vista and ELRS, and it works great (despite ~310g loaded) - it has very close characteristics as a 5" like you said the Newbee drone does, but with the same complaint of not being able to throw it like a 5". I'm not running an HD cam or anything other than the Vista, but it still works fantastic for me. Glad to see you back, I've always loved your content! Cheers 🍻
Great review man! I got into the hobby a year ago and watched your flying and review videos. Would love to see some more from you again! Congrats on the baby 👶🏻
Nice Stinger, FPV pilot with a class..love it...I just wish all FPV pilot lived in one state.....lol.....we just different, dont get much time to fly my 5 inche , my pavo 20 is my everyday..... as a Jamacian in my neighborhood , my neighbors think Im destroying they community , and should go fly in jamaica....so I just dont fly more often......lol,,,it ok....even if you put me in a baloon , I am still flying....lol...nice likkle quad...gret vid my fren....its good seeing you up and flying....fly safe#1
I'm still pretty new to this hobby, for whatever reason ELRS was attractive. But I'm thining about getting a crossfire module just to open up my options. ELRS BNF always sell out so quickly.
Crossfire served me well for a long time but ELRS is the future. Tracer isn't awful but I just enjoy tinkering and all the updates to elrs keep me happy lol.
Tell Tidwell to hook me up with a spot to lay my head so I can get a chance to fly with you guys the next time he comes up there. !!! You have always been one of my favorite pilots and it would be awesome to get to hang out one day.
Now I’m curious if the geometry can be changed from deadcat to X. I’ve used the ultra naked o3 on the Savagebee. It’s pretty sweet, but it can’t handle the crashed.
Is stingerbee good for beginners? I would like to just cruise and not do crazy freestyle. Is it worth getting the one with gps since it wont do semi long range anyway with the battery it can hold?
i feel like you took too many steps to get the camera in. i just put the tpu in and slid the camera into place from the front. you can line up the screws pretty easily from that point. no disassembly required. i installed the o3 without taking any plates off. no top plate came out either. the wires are a little taught so make sure if you are trying to assemble it the way i did it, you assemble everything before moving the unit into place and that the wires to the antenna are held in with your finger and you are careful not to pull them out
