2020 viewer here. Your content over stippling has been super helpful. Nice build and setup too btw. Edit: through this content, I was able to successfully stipple my Gen5 G19 and flex on my doubtful friends. You should keep this up and open a Patreon.
That was a great idea with the borders bro, n great job!. ..I'mma use that technique on my Glocks n Sigs frames... Woulda been nicer if u used a different tip
I appreciate the tips but I don't think the waffle tip makes for a very clean stippling effect. In the long run it probably does the same job after to you touch it up with some high grit sandpaper but I think I prefer putting down a more manual pattern.
the waffle tip is ugly, pretty much all the home stipple jobs are, but I prefer function over beauty, and the uglier it is, tends to mean the better grip.
You can use blue plastic buffing compound from harbor freight $6,use a bench buffer if you can,got my undercut and grip to a mirror finish it looks like its wet,you want to use the bench buffer because the dremel wheel is too small,it creates a streaked look on big areas, its good for single undercut but not for anything bigger, as for boarders you want to use a diamond dremel bit either a ball or the straight bit ssvi has a great video on why to use them, and there are 100 ways to skin a cat but this guy is going about it all wrong, and a dremel flex extension is a absolute must, and also a adjustable heat iron, will give you the cleanest and best looking results vs a iron that is 100% on all the time, different plastics have different melting points
