If you have small pieces of scrap fabric sitting around, they can be used in your slow stitching projects.
I used some of my little squares leftover from making fabric ball ornaments, to create a slow stitch embroidery sampler. It’s fun to practice stitches you don’t use often and if you’re a beginner, I hope you learn something new from this video.

I make fabric books with my stitched art.
I have a few videos showing how to make a fabric book using different methods. Here’s my playlist on fabric book assembly • Fabric Book Assembly

Your imagination is huge. I seem to stitch the same stitches over and over. I took a screenshot of the stitches you made today and I'm going to try them on my snippet roll. Thank you for your inspiration. Hugs ❤

Hi! I was wondering how long it actually takes you to do one of these small projects. I’m planning on beginning some and needed an idea of how long it would take. I enjoy your work very much. Thank you. Connie😊

It’s kind of hard for me to say because I rarely complete a whole piece in one sitting. Maybe 2 hours if I had to guess for something like this. Have fun! You don’t have to do it all at once. Take your time and enjoy yourself.

Any hints for stitching with metallic thread? Bought this skein of metallic embroidery thread awhile ago, used once. Now I remember why, it is hard to work with; strands fraying and hard to pull through fabric. Any tips?

The only thing I really do is make sure the eye of the needle pokes a hole big enough for the thread to pass through easily without catching. So definitely try a bigger needle and maybe shorter lengths of thread so it doesn’t get tangled as easily.
