My first car! '63 Falcon, used. Bought it with proceeds from my paper route at age 14 (legal back then if you needed it for work). Loved that car. 200ci Straight 6, Three speed column.shift.

Had a 66 with straight 6 a 200 I think, three in the tree. Nothing fancy just transportation, but loved that little car drove the heck out of that thing never failed me ever, it was a real runner!

1st car my mom had that I can remember...'62 Ford Falcon 4 door. She was still driving it up until 1975 and just b4 I got my learner's permit..I hated to think once I did get my permit/license that I would be driving it and prayed something catastrophic would happen to it forcing my mom to buy a newer car. Well I got my wish when the car was involved in a wreck totalling it...thankfully nobody was hurt. She ended up purchasing a '72 Dodge Dart Swinger Jet Blk with a 225. Talk about one happy camper...I waxed that car every weekend to the point you could stand back from it...smile...and see the cracks tween your teeth in the reflection...

Gettin ready for Church this morning and seen your video. The fan belt can be got in one trip to the store. Just take a long 1/2" belt cut in two. Wrap it around the pulleys and mark where it laps. Presto with God's blessing you have the correct measurement for length. We can have fun......thank God for Grace....and and Mercy

Ahhh memories..I had a 65 survivor. Thrashed the hell out of it unit blew smoke out the rusted tailpipe and floors fell out of it. They don’t build them like they used to....thank God

I wish I had my dad's 64 Falcon wagon. It was a Fire Chief's car and spent it's whole life parked next to a fertilizer plant. No floors, rust on all quarters...but it would start in a blizzard.

I can't believe that I just find your channel. I wish I was close enough to help you out, you seem to be having so much fun, but are willing to admit being upset. I'm a Christian, but sometimes my mouth gets ahead of my faith! I love Falcons, sat on my Dad's lap in our one year old 1960 Falcon station wagon in 1961, piloting that big ol' white steering wheel while he ran the pedals and the 3 on the tree gearbox. falcons are one of the best cars ever made,,,, they had one for everybody 2 door ,4 door, wagon ,convertible ,coup, post , 4 speed 3 speed, automatic's , power with air non powered, and if one of them was not what you need they even made the ranchero light truck version of a falcon loved everyone we ever had easy to work on even with a v/8 in it real real easy with a 6 some pretty fancy some plain jane but has to be one of the best cars ever has a little bit of that ford model t DNA in it one car for every body we could have just stopped there

I has a '65 two door plain jane, only extra was a radio and heater. Brought used in '71 and drove it for six years. Developed electrical problems and had to let it go. It was like losing a member of the family. Wished many times I had it again. I still have a spare key for it somewhere.

The gentleman I purchased it from said it was new when he tried to crank it 7 years ago... the shaft showed it was newish... After I run it for a while, I'm taking every thing off for paint..

I have a 1964 Falcon tudor post car that I found in Galion Ohio, It had sat parked in an alley for thirty years when I bought it, I completely rebuilt the fuel system, The cooling system and the brake system, I took it to some shows in Galion and everyone called it ''Grandma's car'' or ''The doctors car'' and knew where I got it! The front fenders were rotted to death so I bought a set of fenders for it and welded patches over the holes on the rest of the body when I had to stop working on it for a while and then lost interest in it! The car runs perfect and only has 42,000 miles on it and it has a red interior that's in perfect condition! I just need to buckle down and finish it! Plus I have a 63 Falcon wagon that sat in a garage and seized up, I have an 83 Fairmont that has a perfect engine and transmision that I plan to use in the wagon if I don't part it out!

I am the 2nd owner of a 61 Falcon 2 dr. Futura and it is a rare Hurst project vehicle as it was used to convert the 6 cyl. with a Chevy 283 cid.After conversion I installed a turbo 400 trans.Vehicle has been stored inside and ran 20 years ago.Soon to be for sale.

Ive read a few comments about the ac unit. I collect and have restored vintage underdash ac units. You can check out my playlist on air conditioning restoration. I have two of those like in that falcon. I personally pulled one of them from a 62. These are specific to 1962. Ford didn't do "factory" air conditioning" in these until 1967. And yes these were dealer installed but they were Ford units as well as compressor, drier, condenser, hoses/lines, pulleys and brackets. There were aftermarket ac underdash units out there but this was not one of them. If you open up the unit you'll see that the evaporator and blower motor were genuine Ford parts.

My mom had one of these, but she had the Futura model. They traded in a '57 Del Rio Ranch Wagon for it. She had the car from 1963-1972. It was a very reliable car.
