Fjäderholmarna is a group of islands barely outside of Stockholm City, and they are often called the closest islands in the Stockholm archipelago. I decided to explore the biggest island and its history dating all the way back to 1381.
Aside from the history of the islands, I also examine where they got their name and everything you can do on the island. The island has had restaurants and cafés since the 1600s and that tradition continues to today. There's also an art village with arts and handicraft, a glassblower, and a blacksmith.
Aside from that there's also a chocolate maker, a brewery, whiskey storage and some marvellous views.
Some of the places I visited include:

Rock the Forge: rocktheforge.com/

Simple Wild Living also made a video about Fjäderholmarna, focusing more on the food and drinks. You can find the video here: • Best archipelago Islan...
