Hey Friend, Happy Monday. I love learning more about how you and your husband do your kids stocking stuffers. All families are different and it’s always interesting learning more about how they do things for Christmas. ❤
I am impressed by the variety of Barbies you were able to get. My girls are also into Barbie and I feel like the selection is very limited here where I live in the states. Also, all the clothes seem very revealing, I wish I could find more of the traditional Barbie clothes that they wore back when I was a kid. Nearly all the Ken dolls in our local wal-mart are shirtless and the Barbies are in bikinis 😆🤦🏻♀️ it’s wintertime!! I feel like I should at least be able to find a Barbie coat somewhere or at the very least, a Barbie wearing pants.
Totally agreed!! We used to have a rule that the girls only had the swimsuit Barbies that aren’t naked but have a swimsuit painted on. But options are so limited, that we changed our minds, but we are strict on them never being naked, and the girls are very good about keeping clothes on them at all times. I was also really happy with the options we found for their stockings! It is hard to find outfits that aren’t skimpy.
Hey lady! You helped me so much! I am so busy and bogged down with some family tragedies and such that my brain is on overload and this gave me such ideas! Thank you! Hugs and Merry Christmas 🎄
Loved your gift ideas! I get that struggle with the youngest, a few things i have done to "fill" the stocking is a Night light, new hat or mitts, bath stuff shampoo, bath toys etc... merry christmas
We typically do some needs (toothbrushes, body washes, toothpaste, etc.), and some fun stuff. So things like Little Debbie Christmas tree cakes, some gummies, word search books, a bit of candy, and small art type things. The oldest will be 17 2 days after Christmas. And the middle one is 14 and a half (female). So, the older they get, the more unique the stocking ideas are. I'll probably get the oldest some wireless headphones and the middle child, some makeup. (No full face type stuff).
I like to buy the “used” items for on Amazon. I had to replace my airfryer. So I bought a used on on Amazon. It was not used the shipping boy was damaged. The actual box was not damaged at all. I was able to get it $30 less than the regular price.
We save all of the little toothpaste and toothbrushes that we get from dentist appointments, and every year, our church, or a friend does bags for a homeless people, and we just donate all of that stuff to them to use for giving to the homeless.
Usually I’m watching your Christmas videos a bit panicked because I barely have anything ready for Christmas. This Friday I bought everything I was buying online and then Saturday I bought all the things I was going to buy in store. I am done with my kid’s Christmas! 😁 I’m curious if you try to stop to a certain gift budget for your kids.
Oh wow, good for you!! 👏🏻 For budget, it really depends on what the kids could use that year. Sometimes they each get a bigger gift that’s over $100, sometimes it’s a few smaller items. For stockings specifically, we spend around $100 each 😊
I don’t personally have experience with the air tags. But I’ve heard they are great on objects that don’t move, but not very accurate on anything that moves. 🤷♀️ we decided to get a Gabb phone, they also have watches that have tracking.
Oh, good to know! Our phone options for kids here in Canada are SO limited. We’ll see how this works. We do have the phone as an option that works well too, especially now that we will leave the older ones in charge at home for short periods while we go out. 😊
