Early on February 26th, 2018, Stockton Firefighters responded to a working duplex fire on South Stanislaus. Firefighters arrived on scene to heavy fire on the 'A' side of the southern unit. Fire crews worked quickly to advance the line through the house and extinguish the fire. Firefighters were able to save most of the house, and had the fire under control within 10 minutes of the initial 9-1-1 call. Firefighters stayed on scene to complete overhaul and investigation; there were no injuries reported.
Stockton Firefighters respond to an average of at least one working structure fire a day. The average Stockton Fire Engine responds to more than 3,600 calls a year, with multiple apparatus over 6,000 calls a year. We are proud to serve the citizens and City of Stockton, California.
