Heavy Fire, Extension to a Second Building, & Wires Down - Structure Fire Video
This video was captured at a working structure fire Monday November 2, 2015 on Channel Street. Multiple perspectives and radio traffic are included and have been edited for this video. This is the third time this year Stockton Firefighters have been to a working structure fire at this address. Firefighters arrived on scene to heavy fire, and conducted a defensive operation to quickly extinguish the fire. There were no injuries.

who ever edited this did a very nice job :). My guess is if its a abandoned building with multi fire calls year, it was probably used by squatters/ drug addicts. Its common for drug addicted to gain access to abandoned buildings, then at some point in the process of doing drugs accidently set the building on fire.

again ANOTHER GREAT RESPONSE TO THIS FIRE ,Shame you have "BEEN BEFORE" WOULD NOT A THICK RUBBER MAT THROWN OVER THE END OV THE POWER LINE STOP IT MOVING ABOUT AND SAVE PROBLEMS HAVING TO WALK ROUND IT . When over the line put a small portable strobe lamp on it so you can all see it . Only a thought. But you guys are great ,

Maybe a dumb question but what do you do in a situation where powerlines are on fire? Are they safe to just extinguish with water or is it best to leave them alone?

Kyle they’d probably cut the power to the line before even considering getting water on it, purely for the fact that the wiring cover can melt, or the metal housing for the power box can warp away, leaving electrical current wires and circuits exposed. That’s considering the power hasn’t shorted itself out first. Hope this answers your question.
