Detailed review of the Stoeger XM1 Ranger. Unboxing, then a detailed look at the new rifle. Shooting is done at 25 yards with JTS 25.39gr, JTS 21.53gr, and JSB 18.13gr pellets as well as some NSA 17.5gr slugs. Then we move out to 50 yards with the JTS 25.39 grainers and the little NSA slugs. After that I shoot a mag of the NSA slugs at my 4" plate at 150 yards.... Will I hit it?

The mystery piece is for removing the tube pressure gage at the front of the cylinder. Just a little information in exchange for all of your excellent videos that I have watched and looking forward to seeing future ones.

thats a snowpeak made gun , that mystery part is a tool to remove the pressure gauge at the front , this gun is a sidelever m 25 who has a solid bolt

It is not identical, internally, to Snowpeak product. I have that from the source. Stoeger requested some modifications from Snowpeak. Nevertheless, it’s an outstanding product and it’s priced hello level to draw people into the sport. And the five year warranty can’t be beat.

Man you shot great. Your trigger discipline (SP)really showed in the scope cam. You new when to pull the trigger. My eyes couldn't keep up LoL. Nice review of a lower budget air rifle!

if you polish the barrel with jb bore paste and then flitz you will see the fliers and groups all tighten up or from my snowpeak experiance it has helped on all of mine

Thanks for the thorough review. This gun is so new it's been hard to find feedback on. Any chance you could try to tune it for heavy slugs and max FPE? Looking hard at the .25 Scout for racoons and coyotes, hoping they come underrated with more power if you need it.

I think out of the .22 the max is gonna be around 40fpe. Its advertised at about 36.5. I'm getting like 37-38fpe and it's shooting very well so I'm not going to mess with it. It's good as-is.

just so people know the gun is manufactured by snowpeak and they make very good pcps for the money i have a snowpeak p35 which is the stoeger xm1 bullshark that will outshoot my fx maverick and my daystate revere out to 90 yds because i dont have 100 yds

I wonder why for this gun to be regulated. Why isn't shooting so slow? I mean, the 25 grain pellets would probably be about the weight you would want to shoot out of a 25 caliber rifle and it's too slow Should be in the high eight hundreds

You can shoot them like 900fps out of this thing, far exceeding its advertised power. But as you saw here, mine was MOA at 50 yards at only 800fps, so why change it?
