"Think a thousand times before you take a decision, but once you have taken a decision, never look back even if you face a thousand difficulties." -Adolf Hitler.
One should listen to this, each and every morning. As a man trying to rebuild himself from rubble and ashes, I will treat this video as an oath and will repeat this oath every single morning. Simply put, this is amazing stuff.
Hey Buddy, pick up Seneca's On providence and Letters to Lucilius. Everything from Cicero, Seneca, Epictetus and Marcus Aurelius in general. These are just snippets of those great works that can profoundly change your soul. Peace.
"I fear arriving at the end knowing I chose not to do better; being left with no excuse and a poor performance to reconcile." -Tigorious the Victorious Tiger 🐅
As a 60 years old man who broke each and everyone of these rules, I can tell that they are true. Advice for the young: do not be fooled by anything else. Follow these rules by the letter. If it means losing somebody, so be it. They were not worthy.
Life hit me pretty hard. I'm actually coming up with a resource that helped me become the man I am today. I used to live in Miami being around street violence, guns, death, and I even used to eat $3 a day, 25 cents noodles, expired toast and canned campbell tomato soup. I survived the Boston Marathon Bombing which was a few feet away and I saw all the blood the people screaming and I was alone at 18. I also used to live in a room with no kitchen, trash bag as a window and bugs crawling on me at night. I also took boxing to protect myself and learned how to defend against bigger threats. Now I live in a cabin in the north of Sweden where I go down to a lake to breathe and heal my past and I post on RU-vid to help others who need it the most 💜
"If you are fighting through difficulties, it means a hero is being born." I dont know why but i got hit by that so much a tear just rolled down my cheek.
I had the same reaction. Feeling totally overwhelmed and hit relentlessly with disappointment and betrayal, feeling hopeless and then hearing this. I think I may have actually choked.
1. Don’t let another day pass without saying you gave it your all 2. Treat each hour as if it with the highest regard as you are using up your life 3. The fastest way to grow as a human being is to stop complaining 4. The greater an undertaking, the greater the reward 5. Just focus on today and handle what is in-front of you to mitigate anxiety 6. Don’t live your life to be like everyone else, be extraordinary 7. Whatever happens to you, embrace it as it is fate; no matter what, find the bright side from it 8. The man who knows where he is going will always beat the man who doesn’t 9. Before beginning each day, ask yourself who you would like to feel at the end of it 9. Your abilities are determined by how well you can focus 10. Choose strength over weakness, courage over cowardice, virtue over vice 11. No matter what they do to you, they cannot take away your ability to respond 12. Without challenges how will we get better, if you are fighting adversity you grow 13. The people you encounter will be difficult, do not let them disrupt your serenity, kindness and grace 14. We are much better when we work together 15. Time is fleeting, postpone nothing, bring forth your best
Don't let the potential inside you to lie dormant 00:06 Make every day count and strive to give it your all 00:13 Take care with the next 24 hours and treat each one as the highest gift you could receive 00:32 Stop complaining to grow as a human being and reap greater rewards 00:47 Focus on today and handle what is in front of you to watch your anxiety dissipate 01:05 Use life while you still can, because it is but the flicker of a light in an eternity of darkness 01:22 Extract the good from your fate 01:50 Begin each day by asking how you would like to feel at the end of it and focus well to limit distractions 02:05 Choose strength over weakness, courage over cowardice and virtue over vice 02:33 Fighting through difficulties means a hero is being born 03:04
Prosperity that is undiminished cannot withstand a single blow, but the man who has struggled constantly against his own ills, becomes hardened by suffering, and no misfortune makes him yield. Indeed, if he fails, he still fights on his knees. -Seneca

Seriously I love the Stoic quotes to build an unshakable mind and it's gone now. I listen to it almost everyday. Could someone reupload it on RU-vid please?
I really needed to hear this. I can't stop my tears. Sometimes we want to hear it from the people next to you, but they either want us to be useless or see it that way. Thank you.
Use great ideas to build yourself into a man of strength and character, a man of your word, skilful and with a purpose that also serves the ones around you as well. If you enjoy topics about masculinity and mastery, I invite you to explore the videos I share on the Mastery Order Channel. Challenge yourself with some concepts about manhood, explore your masculine potential to the maximum and become the kind of man you would admire. We can only better ourselves together, as men among men, so I invite you to use what I share and, of course, share your own opinions so that others can benefit from them as well. All the best to you!
Keep persistent, I had retrolisthesis, which is basically a dislocated vertebra. It was my L5, and two compressed discs accompanied by nerve pain down my left leg and extremely diminished control over my entire left calf muscle and part of my left hamstring and glute, as well as 24/7/365 tingling in the leg and muscle twitches and cramps. Couldn't stand on my left leg for even a second and couldn't do one single-leg calf raise with my left side. Years later, and I mean YEARS later, after significant amounts of work starting from scratch, I now squat over 400 lbs, deadlift over 500 lbs, have a 50 sec 300 meter sprint, do Muay Thai 2-3x a week, my L5 is back in place where it belongs and I have probably 90% functionality in my left leg again. Doctors told me my options were either surgery, or a miracle to get back to what I was before the injury. I was told to never squat or deadlift again because with my back how it was, further damage to the area could potentially paralyze my left leg. I worked and worked and worked to get back to where I was, and now im actually beyond where I was before the injury. Lost weight (75 lbs), strengthened my core, and for months would squat and deadlift only 135 x 5 just to perfect the technique again. Two years later I conquered the problem and surpassed my previous physical best. Work, work, work, and you'll get the results. The time will pass one way or another, so spend it working toward what you want. Its never too late in life to bring your best efforts. My injury occurred at age 29, and at age 36 i was finally "over" it and now at 38 im in the best shape of my life. You got this.
Thank you for making this video and sharing the wisdom of stoicism with the world. In a time of so much uncertainty and upheaval, the stoic philosophy offers a powerful antidote to fear, anxiety, and despair.
2nd day of law school, Whole batch was called into an auditorium where we had to recite more than a 1000 pages for 4 hrs. Felt sick to my stomach . The only friend from my province dropped out the day before and I broke down for the first time in my life. Couldnt shake the anxiety of embarassing myslef and the unfairness it felt seeing all my other friends partying and enjoying life while i was going through this hell. I barfed in the cr and went home before recitations even started. Promise ill never this happen again.
To those who have been following this channel for years. Anyone have the video including "On Quitting" and "Buckle in" from Edgar Albert Guest. Those were my favourites and can no longer find them.
effort is certainly not equivalent to results, life is random and we will rise and fall again and again and again, maybe for luck, maybe by mistakes, but effort is certainly the crucial first step to acomplish anything and get better as person. great Quotes from this video
Adventures in life ! Learning to serve in this beautiful country. Do your best specially to mighty Indian armed forces. Thank you for the inspiring video love and peace to all.
I want to push hard for myself, I want to go further than I have, I want to exhaust myself to a breaking point, I want to feel the uncomforted pain and anxiety, I want nothing more then to say I spent all my energy I possibly could to make this day well for me, but to fully grow is to realize I must change my wants to needs
