Beautiful. i once saw Paul Weller in a pub in Maiden Lane in Covent Garden in the '80s London and thought - oh shit that's Paul Weller and then i have just come across Stone Foundation and i saw Paul Weller again and thought exactly the same thing - oh shit that's Paul Weller
everytime i hear this song I think of an early Sunday morning, maybe after leaving the bed of a hot one night stand, find a cafe, sitting there with a strong coffee something tasty as i watch the sun come up over the river...and smile
Awesome, this song brings together everything I love about Paul Weller. The album of this collaboration Paul Weller and Stone Foundation is really great. It must be obtained without hesitation. Unquestionably the soul album of the year.

I quite like Stone Foundation but I feel they don't do themselves any favours by having as strong and readily identifiable of a vocalist as Weller on their tracks. All this does is to demonstrate that their own vocalist is ok, but somewhat run of the mill. I'm always intrigued by a band such as this. I feel that it's a very Southern (maybe, London) thing for a guy who has spent the years learning, say, guitar, to want to form a band such as this. (I'm probably wrong. They're probably all from Manchester.......but I'd be surprised!) Again, don't get me wrong, I like 'em but,.....well, y'know?
