Jimmy was so young to play that kind of blues. He had to have a special talent to do that. Some folk can play all there lives and never reach anywhere near that level. No wonder Paul McCartney poached him. RIP Jimmy 🙏😘

James Dewar replaced on bass by Steve Thompson. Not to shabby. Many know Steve from his collaboration with John Mayall, on the "Turning Point" album. Steve with that wicked bass riff on a track called "California."

Billy, Steve was a great replacement for Jimmy who we all know ,well most of us anyway went on to play Bass for Robin Trower until his passing. Two super bass players . Steve also can be heard on many of the tracks on Mayall's Back To The Roots LP.
