Such disrespect. The adult leader of that group of teenagers is as much at fault as the teens. I feel so bad for the guards. I congratulate them for their self control and standing firm in their commitment to King and Country. Well done!
Wow, so happy to see someone speak up for these guards, thank you sir. Whoever is was that was with these teens should be scolded for not saying anything. Don't bring a bunch of disrespectful, immature brats to a place like this!
Well done that gentleman! I don't understand why more visitors don't speak out when others are making nuisances of themselves. It was only a few members of that large group of teenagers who were taunting the guard, but they spoiled things for the rest, many of whom thanked the Guard after the group photo was taken.
Wow. So say you? Is it your horse? I agree that there are many people about But I trust that the Trooper can take care of himself and his horse. The Commander of the Household Cavalry would not put any trooper or horse in danger. So you take care of your horse and let the troopers care for theirs.

True. I’d say more like Guards who was being direspectful whereas the horse was annoyed by those ignorants tourists who don’t much paying the warning sign
The horses are like the guards, on duty, what should be changed is the amount of people getting into their work space, so many of them downright disrespectful and worse still when there is a teacher there and allowing it.
That veteran is always there telling the tourists not to cross the line. Those young people are disrespecting the Guard through their actions. Should put them into military training. That would teach them a lesson.

This place should have been closed off to the public years ago. Totally ridiculous to allow so many people into such a small area. 90 % of the problems at Horse Guards is down to whoever allows large numbers of people into the area.

The police are Ministry of Defence police there for security and antiterrorism as Horse Guards is a working military barracks . They are not there to protect the Guards who are soldiers remember , they have eyes everywhere plus cctv , they can and have stepped in if necessary and told groups to leave the premises .

This horse is really agitated and they still gather to take pictures and laugh and disrespect the horse guard in the horse. They’re just awful. I wish they were allowed to pet the horses.
Quite frankly I don't think there was anything wrong with the photo but they should have moved away after it instead of hanging around staring and keeping other people from seeing the Guard.
Were none of these kids briefed by their tour guides/parental escorts in basic info about the fact that these were active duty performing their jobs as assigned?!? The signs about horses kicking & biting are woefully inadequate. But it IS a reasonable expectation that a foreign speaking language group would ALSO have guides/escorts FLUENT in reading & writing in that homeland’s language!
