Project Farm says Max Power Twisted, Watched another guy and Rhino Tuff triangle stuff won his shootout... Smarter Every Day did one where a square shaped line with a round inner core won...Everyone seems to get different winners so it's tough to pick a "best".I decided to try the Rhino Tuff Marked Line (yellow/triangle).

I really think it all depends on the trimmer you have. The HP, torque, RPM, and/or type of head. I've tried at least a dozen types, and for my battery powered Ryobi trimmer with an Echo Speed Feed 400 head, the .095 Echo Black Diamond works best all-around. I get a good cut, good battery performance, and very good durability.

Yeah I run the Rhino triangle and it's great. Lasts a long time.

@@leadnsteel1428 now that I've had a chance to use it, it cut well and I didn't have to bump too many times. When I'm done, I remove the spool with the remaining line from the head and leave it in a bucket of water until I need to trim again.

@@TheBitsonEffect because apparently trimmer line has the ability to absorb moisture making it less brittle. There's videos on it.

Echo Black Diamond for me. The line spins very true and make a razor straight edge. Also the only line the I use that takes out milkweed from the base in one pass.

It's my favorite as well. I've used about half a dozen different kinds this year during testing, and I always go back to Black Diamond.

I just bought that trimmer, I had to remove the guard as it has something that would break the line at about 3 inches. did you have that same trouble?

I'm not a fan of a guard on my trimmer anyway, so I removed it pretty quick. I like to be able to determine the length of string that I use, not the guard determining it. Once the guard was off and I installed the Echo Speed Feed 400 head, I absolutely love the trimmer. It's my favorite tool.

Bro, I got that black diamond and tried in my lawn care biz, yea I tossed it in the trash 🗑 ASAP, ya need to hit up Lowe’s and scoop the titanium stock gray round line, or the orange titanium pro line, stuff lasts ten times longer than echo line period brother

I did purchase the Titanium Pro line and I’m testing it out. It reacts differently than the Black Diamond so I have to get used to it.
