Doc Squiff, respect ir knowledge on stremin stuff n I know u bole me outta the water on tech, but I'm just goin on my history with FS, on blocking updates. Never gotten a " boot loop", always block updates and don't lose my custom homescreens. I'm also on the edge of dumping all my fs devices, n prime, cuz amazon's penny pinchin policy charging $3 / mo to avoid ads. Only a matter of time b4 they jack up prime again. Onn 4k box , works just great 4 me , and I'm sure more boxes are coming that will be better than the onn 4k. Screw Am !!!!

Hi doc regular listener I always used every day clear cache because I thought that to stop buffering it was a good idea I won't do it in the future I always use the app that tells you what's open in background and cancel them if not being used thanks as always you comments 😊

Thanks Doc, I also only clear cache when apps start playing up, sometimes i have to uninstall/reinstall a large app once the ram gets below 600mb when it starts playing up which then frees up 1.5gb or so, I do suffer from some buffering, i use IPV and RD but am still running a 2nd gen fire tv box and ethernet, maybe i need to upgrade and if i do, do you have any sugeestions please? it would need an ethernet connection but also not sure what will happen once Amazon change from Android.

One bad thing that you don't talk about is that firestick start to not work properly after a few days, a week.. basically the longer it's running and then you can not use the device. The only way is to reload or power off and up. If you have a work around that then please share.
