Some fitness youtubers say that planks are good and crunches are bad and some say that crunches are good and planks are bad so I do both of them equally🤔
Stop drinking water while working out, drink 3 gallon of water while working out, don't do squats, do squats, don't do isolation exercices, don't use the Smith machine, don't use any machine at all only barbell etc etc etc 😒😒😒😒😒😒
This channel for fitness is the best on the web. No nonsense, articulated perfectly, no silly over the top introductions. Just straight forward tips on training demonstrated and explained superbly in an easy to understand way for anyone to understand.
This channel and Sixpackabs are truly fantastic, perhaps the best. Is Alex the narrator for this channel? I also visit Athlean-x and SmashweRx for injuries and rehab. They're also great. Kino for yoga. She emphasizes strength as well as flexibility. Look at her figure.
@@N00.B0DY How tf can you steal a comment or a joke, it’s a fucking meme it’s meant to be copied, reposted or other shit like that, get a brain before saying cringy stuff like *imagine stealing a comment* like it’s the law
Phillip Zhong come on man xD what i meant to say that their information usually come in handy so the part were i say i will give it a try is for this only lol you cant know untill you try
Laurence Lucy he is also very informative but idk too much scientific and really throw me off the subject thats me personally , but if you are seeing result from him its all good 😀
Tried it, loved it. Makes the plank feel way more active. I also liked switching from straight body to hollow body, in a "shoulder blade pushup" movement.
Very satisfied with this video. Looking at other videos too many are self obsessed and focus on their narcissistic tendencies, but this channel focuses on the process and the physiology of the exercises. Thank you.
Dude, you are the best on u-tube, across the board. No manifest big ego, good voice, easy going presentation, and w/o saying, super well developed physique and in depth knowledge of human physiology. I'd like to find a trainer like you. Cheers!
Another good tip is to move your hands away from each other when in a plank position. It makes it harder by bringing the shoulders to a neutral position. Most of us tend to be internally rotated in the shoulders throughout the day by sitting, working etc, so it's a good way to fight back on that.
Congratulations on 1 million subscribers! This is the absolute best channel for calisthenics out there! It teaches you excercises that actually help you to have a healthier body and not just show off! I love u guys keep it up!
He is absolutely spot on, his directives are very detailed and I have found one of the right places to get some workout done. Dude is a mix of Animation and Reality, i wish i have such features so i can confuse a lot of people if am real or not. Great body structure.
EPIC as usual! and El Eggs, I don't know how many packs are these, but with the obliques and the serratus they look fuckin awesome and it's hella strong! .. keep up the good work
I exercise daily and go to RU-vid and look at many sources of what/how to do exercises properly. Alex has to be one of the BEST!! I recommend him to all my friends and family ...
I'd go with intermittent fasting to utilize the ketonic state for fat burning. Stay away from sugar and starchy carbs, period. Eat steamed or roasted veggies to you content with enough nuts, avo (fats) and watery but high nutrition density greens to fill you up. Input does NOT equal output concerning food. Resetting your insulin sensitivity is the ONLY permanent way to lose fat.
This guy needs to talk to a few physio’s and experts and see how much wear over curving and stressing your spine can make, I dare you to try squatting with a curved spine and loose abs like that you’ll fall on the ground pretty fast
You have just great body , after watching you I am moving away from bodybuilding & more towards flexibility & stability ... Keep up good work & teach us more
There is so many opinions by so called professionals that i don't know which one to listen !!🤦🏻🤦🏻 i start my routine and i run into a video that says "don't do it this way " , i proceed with my routine and run into another video titled " you are doing it wrong and i"ll explain why "....what's up with that?🤦🏻🤦🏻😭😭🤣🤣🤣
Listen to him. Why? Cause he's right. How do i know? Take a look for yourself. Look at how gymnasts train. See the holds and movements they do, and when you start to looks into how they exercise to build the strength they have, they will all tell you that you need a strong core and they will tell you to practice your hollow body. From what ive seen and read, and trust me i have really looked into it and i plan to keep goong since im going to get into gymnastics myself, the hollow body hold exercise is a must do exercise in gymnastics. Dont take my word for it. Go look at videos on how to planche and do handstands and all the other movements, they tell you.
I get that. You're right, there's a lot of dreck about fitness. And anybody can post a video claiming authority. That said, it pays to see the author's credentials - if they're qualified, chances are better tray they know what they're talking about. It's part of the economy of research. In this case, one of the practitioners (Sven) is a physical therapist. (www.calimove.com/p/group-training-in-leipzig) I think Alex is too, but I couldn't find where I'd seen that.
your flexibility and definition of your muscles makes these videos so much more understandable... even the fact that you are not unnaturaly shredded helps show which muscle you contract better in my opinion which would be counter intuitive i think. thank you
Thanks for the share,,, I dint know I was doing wrong all these days,,,, earlier I have most of my pain on the back, now I feel the core more than my back
During the first several times I was trying to do planks I thought I was doing them correctly since I was feeling some tension in my abbs, but the not so much tension that the discomfort felt beyond bearable. But I eventually found out that I was still doing planks incorrectly since when I did proper form when doing planks yeasterday, the discomfort I felt in my abbs felt beyond bearable. Sadly if the discomfort I feel when doing a exercise has to feel beyond bearable inorder for me to benefit from it. No wonder why there isn't very many men with big muscles.
Exactly what i want to look like. Perfect body and muscle tone. First time trying planks tonight before coming across this video. I did it for 1:30 seconds before stopping but with just a straight back. Just wondering if this is a good time?
