My '17 F350 breathes easy, in and out, while maintaining her weight with a regular fitness routine. That said, rerouted with spe internal catch can but eyeing their new ccv catch can option.

There's an updated part that gets rid of the serviceable filter that gets clogged. FC3Z-6A785-F.

Only the wide frame trucks have that style of CCV box with a replaceable filter. The F-250 has the new style baffle box that is sealed. Even the sealed boxes can get plugged. Replace at 60-70,000 mi, or if you see it leaking, you should be good.

Swapped mine to the newer design a few months ago.

I bought my 2023 ccv box to put on my 2012 when they first came out. I still haven't put it on yet 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

I have a 2017 6.7. I though Ford replaced the filtered CCV box with a non filtered box that prevents blow by. I'm sure I saw this on one of Arods older videos

i have a 21' 6.7, and upon a little research I believe the CCV i have on mine from the factory is the one with the check valves in it and not filter and supposed to be ok and not need to worry about "upgrading", can anyone confirm or deny?

So, if it has the non serviceable style box with no bolts and no internal filter to replace, will it still need replaced as regular maintenance? 🤔

How often should the cc filter changed?

On the left side of the engine are two hoses that go from left valve cover to that box. The hose closest the to grill needs to be blocked. The hole behind it needs to vent out to atmosphere like a tractor.
