Very helpful, like you said not many videos showing how the1.1 actually looks inside. There was one that said the ring on the back could be easily damaged, and he did break it in the video, but you could not see what was actually going on.
The red ring at the back, I believe, isn't necessary if it's not there. I think it was there to help keep the tube there, but I think there's enough already there that if it was missing, it wouldn't affect anything. The tabs that you need to worry about are the ones that hold the plunger assembly together. If those break, that's a much bigger issue. I wish I had taken more photos inside, but it's the same thing everyone has seen before. Plunger tube, plunger, and catch. Nothing else crazy going on.
