Do you look a little like this in your swing? Yes, it may work for Spieth, Westwood and a couple of other notable players... But for most of us, this swing release is easier... SUBSCRIBE FOR REGULAR GOLF TUTORIALS! - tinyurl.com/yuau39b2
watched a ton of vids on here, yours was the best advice on the dreaded wing. I was hitting at the ball, I tried your one arm swing drill and got the proper feeling of a swing not a hit, I got out in the yard with practice balls and after keeping that drill in my mind, my only swing thought was keep it loose, my grip, my swing thru the Ball and instantly knew I was now swinging not hitting....the trouble I was having with thinning and topping my fairway woods was driving me crazy, I soon began to get solid contact like I did years ago....my one swing thought from now on is to stay totally relaxed with lower grip pressure and to freewheel thru the ball, and not try and steer the ball to a target... keeping that one arm swing drill as the key. Thank You so much for your vid.....Jeff from Australia.
I am going through some of your old videos before I subbed. THE whole amateur mistake is release. IF we could as amateurs "release", the rest of the swing takes care of itself. I found this out today and commented with your reply. IT IS all ABOUT RELEASE and how to do it. With the release we do not over the top or if we do we can still play golf. It has been a revelation to me . ALL this playing golf for 40+ years and NEVER releasing the club properly. I got to 8 handicap doing it wrong. short game was good though. I cannot believe the swing is so simple if the club is released correctly. The light bulb has gone on.
This is bloody brilliant that you got there!! Well done and yes… too much is focused on back when how you finish and get through with a release is the key. I lived in Sheringhan for a few years if that near you in the east coast :)
FINALLLLLY after watching 100's of videos and taking lots of lessons. This simple video is the FIX to my issues. With this technique I lift my lead heel a little hope thats ok. THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Great video as ever. Can you clarify the difference between this kind of aggressive release and flipping please? Is it the forearms doing the release instead of the wrists in the correct version?
That position at around 6:30 is such a stretch, I know its something I really struggle with. Almost all my bad swings come from trying to hit it harder than I'm really capable of.
I struggle with this bad, but when i do this feeling with a ball in the way, i dive hard into the ground and thats even worse than having a chicken wing. My chicken wing is necessary for some other fault in my swing
I have a chicken wing but hit the ball left with really inconsistant strikes. My club face is square and I my swing path is in to out, sometimes too much but cannot get rid of this chicken wing at all. Any tips?
Well the tips in the video will. This also. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P_rMJxVixgg.html and try feeling this.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-n22LXKVM7CE.html for low and left
This is the toughest thing to break in probably 95% of golfers who are not pros. Everyone swings at the ball, which messes everything else up. I know i should be swinging out to the target, yet i can never do it.
