Thank you so much for this video . I feel like God brought this video my way. Lately, I’ve been consuming a lot of social media which I believe it is a distraction for me in growing and spending time with God. And I really want that to change. I think I am going to start by taking one day off of social media a week and then continue to progress over the weeks.

This one right here hit it on the mail for me I was just writing about this in my journal reflecting & auditing how I’m moving. Found myself seeing that my strategy vision & desires were heavily influenced by the external world rather than going all in on faith with the seed God planted within me. It’s within me but heavily influenced by the external world. I hope this made sense but this is so important

this was spot on!! i fasted for a week last week & felt convicted to start over on instagram. i went from almost 3k to 600 followers (i restricted my following/followers to just family/friends/Christ followers). it honestly felt so good removing all of those worldly people & taking away their access to me. i’m gonna aim to do the 30 day detox soon

12:55 I interacted with a “Christian RU-vidr” encouraging her followers to sing secular music to God. I questioned her about it, she said she’s doing whatever it takes to bring soul to God. I’m still confused because how is secular music bringing souls to God?

I don't want to misspeak, but I think it might have something to do with the way that music can connect people. Music is truly a powerful thing, even if it isn't always for the glory of God. Through music, the RU-vidr may be trying to persuade others who are not yet believers of Christ that they may come as they are. It's possible that over time, her hope is that the people she was encouraging to sing secular music to God may be transformed so that their desires eventually do please God.

@Couvered Uhmm.. I don't know about that. The enemy imitates light to get people on his side. I don't think we, as followers of Christ, should use his methods. We can't draw people to God using music that glorifies impurity with the hope that they'll eventually see the light. We should never alter the word of God to make it palatable for the next person. Jesus preached the truth for what it was, regardless of who it offended. ❤
