At 54 years old. I don’t have a choice. I have to get well & heal my whole self if I want to play in the 4th quarter. I have a purpose,I’m searching for it. Day 12.

Peppermint Patti you’re doing great! Keep it up. We all have a purpose, don’t search too hard, one day it will come to you when you’re not paying attention.

After the fog of drugs and alcohol sets in we forget that we have the power over our choices. Once I admitted I had a problem and asked for help I felt a new found sense of freedom that I lost long ago before addiction. I am not a victim but an adventurer in search of treasure. :) Great message! RR

The fog and the fact that we forget our true power is soooooo true. Thank you for sharing this. I am going to do a video on this exact fact that happens to all of us.

Hey Ryan, just wanted you to know that I will hit 2 years, completely clean off of Opioids on Sunday August 26th. My drive, determination and anger (at myself) along with your videos are the reason I am where I am! Thank you again Brother!!

Hey ryan... so my wife smashed my phone cause she knew that this was one of the easiest ways for me to get dope! I'm still in the early stages of recovery I'm 7 days in, August 13th was the last day I used.. it has been hard long road from where I was to where I'm at now.. even if only 7 days....! My choices that I made are from my doings... I have put my family threw slot of misery,guilt,shame,sadness and all other sorts of other things because of the choices that I made.. I'm going to continue to watch your videos and stay connected... thanks Ryan ur videos have had an unprofound motivation for me to stay clean and ask for help when shit gets tuff.... thanks Ryan ... and for all the other addicts out there from all walks of life stay clean ask for help and it's never too late......

I’m 5 weeks clean, had the same thoughts as you but I know that the chemicals in my brain that make me happy are all messed up and not working bc I’ve used crap to make me “happy”. It gets so much better. Promise. Life is precious and with my overactive brain that gets bored so easy, I just have to find healthy things to do. Best of luck:)

Felt the same way, maby work is one of the things that makes you feel that way, no matter how good you are at your occupation you may need To take a break from it no matter how broke you are , little steps

I’m 48 hours into a codeine detox - around 500mg a day for 5+ years. I’ve detoxed once before and was sick as a dog. My dose has increased quite a lot since then. After 48 hours I’ve had NO withdrawal symptoms. What is going on??!!! Are they going to hit me tomorrow like a tonne of bricks or have I someone got lucky??!!
@Blondie727
@Blondie727 5 лет назад
H S Try not to overthink it. You may not get that “sick”. I knew a man who quit a 350 mg. Oxycodone daily habit & he didn’t get horrific withdrawals. Granted that is rare but everyone’s chemistry is different. You may have been through the worst of things. Keep up the good work! :)

I keep hearing this from different people but then some others say that the sound is completely fine. I have been recording videos on my iphone 6 for about 2 years now. Maybe I just have to talk loud like an old man.
