The new ones are terrible I literally stopped playing them, The FPS was SPECTACULAR but the story, the dialogue and making the Nazis look like stupid evil people was what ruined everything. It ruined the title of Wolfenstein to be honest. Play Wolfenstein return to the castle and you'll understand how good and unique this game was.

I bought and blitzed through TNO and TOB on launch day. I still replay both games every year or so. Still just as fun as the first time, every time.

@@monkeymanthegod tbh i cant remember because back then iirc i was something between 8 and 12 years old and i borrowed out the game from my cousin and we just called it Wolfenstein. So sorry :/ But if it helps: The level i am talking about was the first one containing paranormal stuff. Before that it was a normal first person shooter against nazis. I was fighting on ground in a town and the map lead me to a cemetery and there i had to jump down into some catacombs and then the horror started xD i later found out my cousin only lent me out the game because he himself was stuck at that mission due to being scared as well haha

As someone who doesn't really like these games even I would recommend it. I personally don't care for the games. They just aren't my niche but I can confirm that these games are well made and have plenty to offer

Same I like the universe but story wise and gameplay it feels lackluster. In comparison to doom which both have similarities doom feels like I’m playing a super solider, but wolfenstein makes me feel like I just have plot armor and not that my character is a bad ass.

I think the the concepts pretty cool a nice recognizable mc that you can sympathize with and the story’s done pretty well for atleast the first and prequel in the new timeline if you still have somewhat of a negative or neutral opinion on the games try some of the older games like return to castle Wolfenstein
