Is there another way to link up with the Centralization Process as I live in Australia? Sciatica, bulging discs, numbness, arthritis throughout spine and I'm only 56yo. Did too many jobs that involved heavy lifting. 🙄 Just last week spine surgeon said she couldn't do anything helpful except refer me for nerve injection 😮. Many thanks and Blessings 😊

This video is Godsend. I have a textbook case of sciatica with each and every symptom. L5-S1. I almost passed out with pain and was put on Tramadol. I still got pain in my hams and calf .

A key point not mentioned in the video is that if you shouldn't do anything that hurts. Sciatica isn't something where you should/can "push through pain". If you do that, you're just going to antagonise the nerve and make it worse. For long-term fix I'd suggest looking up content about/by Dr Stuart McGill.

Mcgill is suggesting to live life avoiding all normal and basic movements such as flexion in order to avoid pain. And thats ok in first couple of months. And pain is guiding your movement anyways so he didnt introduce anything new. If you keep having pain episodes and flare ups every now and then while still avoiding all fun activities then you are living life as half disabled person. And all these excersises to "stabilize spine" are only helping when you want to lift something. But any sudden and unexpected movement during sleep when you roll over in bed or when you sneeze is making my back go out sometimes and that is not preventable no matter how much your back muscles are strong, or your glutes or you psoas muscles are released. So after 2 years of doing all excersises, spine hyegine ect, I am really considering some type of surgery

None of these stretching helps just makes the pain worse. I comment on everything I have seen and Noone responds😢I really need someone who can help me to respond! I'm I'm pain literally 24/7

⁠@@selinabutler1164As I said above, I’d suggest looking up Dr Stuart McGill. He has excellent advice for recovering from back injuries, particularly during the acute phase. You can get his book Back Mechanics, or there’s plenty of content here on RU-vid. You also need to be aware that for most people there aren’t any quick fixes - it will take weeks or months of gradual improvements.

Watch the vid again n do n the suggested streches n n learn t do creative visuale techniques Like imagine urself put of pain, n doing normal n healthy things Believe it or not but i healed my b torn knee by doing just last years ago Also alternate heating pad n ice paks Use a small vibrator device where u hurt if it doesnt feel good stop Text n him the pain code Best Me too. I believe my sciatica came from me doing stretches. I'm not flexible at all and wanted to stretch to improve my flexibility. Now I have sciatic pain for about 3 weeks now. That saying if it ain't broke don't fix it is so true. This pain absolutely sucks!!

Have a central protrusion at L5-S1 it’s been 4 months. I get to feeling better and one trip to go get gas and I’m back to square one.

I had an Ischemic stroke 2 years ago. It affected my left side - shoulder and arm very stiff but improving. My left leg is very weak and I must walk with a cane but I can put some weight on it. I was considering a surgically implanted VNS device but I am now leaning against it because I don't want to become dependent on anything foreign .

I have a right hip sciatic nerve pinch plus a Baker's sist on the back of my right leg behind the knee... it's impossible for me to do these exercises but I need to do something???

Are you a qualified doctor to give these exercises out. I have had sciatica 4 months now. Takes me an hour to get out of bed. Doctors have put me on Naproxen and Codeine . Waiting for an x-ray on the knee

Better more thoughtful analysis available elsewhere. Important to understand that piriformis-level impingement and disc impingement are totally separate phenomena and will benefit from different therapies. Doesn’t hurt if the PT can pronounce “sciatica” either.

TRUE! Stop stretching your sciatic nerve! It might further inflame to an already inflamed sciatic nerve! Instead do decompression on the certain vertebra that causes pressure on one of the sciatic spinal root.

Omg thank you so much!!! I’ve been in pain with a pinched sciatic nerve for a week nice looked at tons of videos. Found this one and did this video. The frog exercise is where I actually felt the pinch release finally in my lower mid back. Finally! I could feel the pressure and pain release as I sat in the frog hip position. Thank you so much!!!!

I’ve Been doing these exercises- After a long period of extreme pain and medication; and expensive physiotherapy in Nairobi. I must say, It has Been months of pure comfort. Massive thanks to Doctors at AIC Hospital Kijabe, Kenya; who actually trained on doing the exercises as opposed to them doing them and use of expensive medication.

Hey.. finally. I feel relief. I'm 61 and am blessed with an athletic body, I play soccer, tennis, cycle to work but this the first year I felt prolonged pain in my inner glutes. Think I'll make this my daily start. Thank you

@JohanShichibukai I went on predisone..no luck..3 doctors..must be sciatica..I will keep stretching..awful..but I'm 62..worked on my feet. was always moving..now I'm paying price..rode dirt bikes...few falls

I have had mild pain for the past 3 days that got worse from climbing 3 flights of stairs with weight. I feel better after this. The pain is gone. All I now have is a mild sensitivity/tingling sensation on my upper thigh. I will repeat these to get rid of this completely. Thank you!

DO NOT DO BACK EXTENSIONS IF YOU SUFFER FROM SPONDYLOLISTHESIS. Back extensions are not good for this condition. Also sciatica caused by stenosis? No relief but surgery!!!

As we get older and heveyer we need to keep in shape and do these exercises our suffer the pain for being lazy eat right and light exercises for 15 our 20 minutes a day will make the difference big time working all day and coming home to sit on the couch 🛋 all the time will pull your back out

Once the disc heals... its thw muscle near it that keeps hurting...So stretching the thigh muscles help the pain.. if the injury is recent and the disc hasnt healed it...then maybe this stretch is not good.
