There's a couple places reproducing them but in my experience they don;t fit as well as oem. Still plenty of these trucks out there with good dash pads.
My 2008 Silverado, the electrical door connector that goes to the side back, is rigreat. If popping out, I need a new white piece. I think that 1 of the tabs broke off.

And I was just wondering if u have every thought about doing a manual to power door swap . I’ve looked all over utube and there ms not a lot of good info on doing the swap . I’m currently trying to get all the info on doing my 07 gmc classic wt manual doors over to all power . So it would be great to see u doing a video with all your knowledge u have on the chev/gm trucks . Thanks again for all u do !!!! Earl..
Hey Earl! Thanks for the continued support and watching my videos! I'm glad you're getting a lot out of my content. So I've noticed that also, and I do want to do it, but also, you've probably noticed I'm a bit OCD about my trucks and trying to make everything look factory. So the reason I haven't done a manual to power conversion, is it's SOOOOOOOO much work. To convert a wt truck to power windows and or locks, and have it look, function, be as factory, the you have to change the entire dash harness. To do that you have to pull out the entire dash. The only way I would tackle it would be if I had an identical donor truck with the power options I wanted, and if I REALLY loved the truck. If my white 2002 2500hd ever needs a heater core, I would probably do the power window conversion at the same time, but otherwise I don't think I would ever do it. All that said, I have seen an aftermarket kit to add power windows and locks to a truck that was originally all manual and it's wayyyyy less work. Obviously more expensive than just getting a dash harness from the junkyard or a donor truck, but I bet it only takes 10% of the time.
Hey been watching your videos on v6 to v8 swaps. that’s what I’m doing on my 01 rcsb. I’ve got a doner truck 2000 2500 it’s also 4x4 wondering if you knew if I needed moter mounts from another half ton or if they will work being from a 2500 non hd. Thanks for any help! Love the vids
I looked up the brackets on rock auto real quick. The motor mount brackets for a 1500 and the motor mount brackets for a 2500 have different part numbers so they probably different. You'll need to get a set of V8 motor mount brackets for your 1500 truck, and remember the left side bracket is different between rwd and 4wd so make sure you get the right one.
