I have noticed that when I watch or finished watching something in English language I start thinking in english😃 And that's cool, I love it actually 😂 it improves the level of language really well
Here's a tip I use for other languages I'm fluent in. This came about due to being able to think in the target language but talking myself in circles. Think in the target language, in this case English and say whatever it is you wish to say. Then express the same sentiment in your native language and then again say it in the target language. For complex emotions or sentiments what I find is that the first attempt is usually correct but not very elegant. The last is usually as close to perfect as you can get I.e. Short and to the point and is what you should write down and keep in mind when practicing.
I was inspired to learning english and then I was frustrated. It has happened many time with me. Stop thinking about being perfect, just need to start thinking about communication effectively. It's Great. Because when we try to understand all the words, if we catch a new word, we try to think about it, therefore we will lose some information follow that new word. Thank you very much.
Hey again Andrea! I do admire speaking English well but I still struggle to speak in English. Today’s lesson helped me a lot to improve my skills. I bet now I can speak in English confidently by thinking in English in my head.

Stop being a “Simp,” this compliment will not help. At all. Stop treating this woman like you’ll ever be able to get in her pants. It ain’t happening. Just say thank you. Very strange how we men will walk into bars and are willing to buy other people free drinks. Keep your money in your pockets.
I like this lesson and These lesson for me think about a lot to learn especially in me follow first things stop it own language translated and my started a think english for your all the tips is valuable. Thank you very much Andrea
Hi there, Andrea, How are you? I'm Mithu. I am from Bangladesh. You are such a Great Speaker for us. I have been learning English for the last 6 mounths.
I liked your video, I would like to share my experience in learning English which may be helpful for some people, when I reached some level of English I started translating books from French into english, I started with Harry Potter, I translated half the book then I translated a whole book called "The Client' from John Grisham, I used to read a sentence from the french edition translate it and then checked the translation in the English edition then go on to the next sentence and so on until the end of the book, at first there was a lots of mistakes but over the pages I improved a lot to the point where I could get the right translation at about eighty pourcent, it is realy efficient, what I also do is that when there are people around me I listen to there conversation and try to translate in my head what they are saying. Best
Thank you, Andrea. What Andrea says is 100% true. I was always translating english instead of think in english before. It was making my english learning proses became worse. But day by day, i have made a little bit changing by think in english. It's help me a lot. And now i can understand what native speaker talk about even though not 100% but i can catch up. By the way, the most interesting tips by Andrea in this video, for me is narrating in english what are we doing something. I will go for it.
Hi teacher Andrea, l love your videos very much. I often watch videos done by many British English teachers. U are one of the best. I am from God's own country in India. U are welcome to visit the wonderful country. I would like to know the difference between the sentence: I saw him cross the road and I saw him crossing the road. I hope to get reply from you. Best of luck. Bye.
Hey there josepp, thanks for your amazing support! We appreciate it very much! We will certainly visit India one day! ;) So hey, about your question: In summary, the first sentence emphasizes the completion of the action, while the second focuses on the ongoing nature of the action when it was observed.
This channel inspires and motivates us in its videos, in terms of reading, learning and multiple life aspects. It even inspired me to start my own RU-vid channel to share my experience in learning English as a second language in the USA with other Arabic speakers around the world. I decided and dedicated my time to help other people to learn and grow. I would be more than happy to help anyone that needs to start the English language Journey😎
Thank you for advices! I’ll try to do as you say 👍 I want to speak English fluently and freely, so I listen podcasts, news on radio when I drive a car.
Wow what a hilarious lesson it is. You have made the points. The way you speak and explain is extremely helpful to learn english with fun. Thanks Andrea for today's amazing tips. Lots of love from India to you and Ethan. 💙
Hi Andrea. Thanks for those tips. I have talk to my self in English. Sometimes it’s like weird, but actually it helps me more fluently in speaking English. I will try the others tips as well.
It is a nature i will doing translate in my head after watchin or listen native speaker use english language. If i don't do that, i am losing many information and missunderstanding. We have many method for understand with other languages. And in my point of view, i don't have a pressure for doing that. I have been listening english songs for many years but i really not understand what their said in the songs. It's same like i always watching Kdrama ( korean drama ) just enjoy movie but never translate in my mind what they said. And i just know several word in korean languages but i can't speak their language.
I've been following this channel for some weeks already but only now I've found the courage to leave a comment. These tips are excellent and then can improve your English fluency indeed! Thanks a lot
The great point of these tips is that you can apply them to other languages. I've been learning English, but I just started studying Spanish three months ago. Maybe I can use these tips for Spanish as well.
@@RealLifeEnglish1 I'm going to use these tips to learn German! Andrea, at what level of fluency should these be implemented? I'm not good enough at German to start doing this beyond naming things and practicing pronunciation. I'd just be looking up every single word rather than being able to mentally narrate the laundry process. So on a scale of A1 to C2, when would you recommend starting?
Hi Anderea lovely teacher on youtube, I admire your videos and watched every day , I like your methods of teaching it is very useful for every one would learn speaking and listning , I reached level2 in Esol , but i dont find english frienf to talk with so my spesking and listening is not good enough , would you recommend me how to improve my speaking and listening , thank you for your great help.
