This tub should never have left the factory with this design! This "bad" tub is one I put in 7+ years ago and it had problems from day one!
The first thing was that we could not get caulk to stay in the seams... because there was always a puddle of water there! Then over time the caulk that was there molded and had to be removed completely.
What is the worst part is how the top lip was sloped to the wall, thus holding the water and then running it off on the floor instead of back into the tub.
I'm so glad to have this tub out of the house and the new one put in.
