If you have 50 teachers in a one hour meeting, that's 50 hours of work. At $50 an hour, that's $2,500 worth of output that should have been produced.
Am I wrong to think in such terms? I can't help it. Especially when I have hours upon hours of wasted meeting time to ponder such equations.
The next time you feel your time is being wasted in a meeting, perhaps just do this basic math (Hours x Teachers x $50) and ask the host if they think it was worth it.
