one thing you haven't mentioned and i don't see it in the comments is that you can speed up farming echos by LOWERING your world level. You can do it every 12 hours so before you do, be sure you spent all your stamina because world level have influence on drops but if you lower yur world level, you kill enemies much faster and so you can farm faster. oh and lowering your world level won't lower your data bank level, so drop rate and rarity of echos will stay the same
@@sandwich4916 i meant that world level has influence on quality of drops in the stages where you use stamina but doesn't have influence on drop rate of echos.
Realistically a huge win would be if we can use dupes WITHOUT any tuning to burn for xp... this alone wont fix the other RNG problems however it'll make the game way better in this area as now farming is a valid way to get xp
All problem I have right now is Tacet fields mainly echo exp and tuners, idk what progression to do next with what we have. I'll wait until they patch some things or wait for more guides about this issue.
@@TBrod except we can't feed the echo drops into other stuff (which, to be fair, makes complete sense) and it costs 60 waveplates... that's the same price as a weekly boss
Those purple "garbage" echo is what players need to actually reach the dps minimum limit to start to beat and get 5 star echoes. So while your advice is good, it isn't great. So ya, players will waste exp mats for echoes. You could have instead said to limit upgrading them to 3 or 4 characters partially before getting to the 5 star echoes. Also, I think the current system isn't great. You said everyone can farm infinite echoes, which is great, yeah. But the problem with them is, we don't get a guaranteed set like for example the fusion damage, or any other set that we need. It would be great if there was a place that could guarantee echoes of a certain set.

It's not just lvling to 25, it's the hundreds of echoes I already had to sift through for crit stats. Like you can cope all day, the % modifiers are usless, since they are all added to the same % pool, which is already stacked to the brim. It's like every other gacha, crit stats or go home and this is no different. Honestly, already slowly losing my mind razing the map 4 hours a day for usable mainstats, just to make them poof immediately with the 4 tuner attempts (240 waveplates) we get at UL30 world rn. They need to introduce those illusive realm guaranteed 3 costs to every reset shop, tower etc. And overall, if they really want to evolve a bit further from the pure rng artifact gacha hell, it's high time to introduce some sort of deterministic substat rolling, even if it just is eliminate HP/def from the pool by investing a currency/material you slowly accumulate over time.
I’m pretty sure they patched the overworld bosses dropping echo every other time. I have not been guaranteed one every two kills. Every third seems to do the trick
If feels shity farming for them and not being able to upgrade them i recently just stopped playing i went from play for 7 hrs a day to less than 1 60 energy for such a low reward suck and I absolutely hate it were basically locked to go for the best subs asap.
Keep in mind in there are also reasons to keep some of the "bad" Echos that are partially/fully leveled up. Tower of Adversity allows swapping gear around, which means we won't need as many "full sets" of gear, and some characters won't *need* the best stats (depending on the character role/difficulty/enemy). Not to mention future characters might want some of the currently less-than-perfect sub-stats. So I would be careful with the "upgrading to 10, whiffing, then using as fodder" strategy, might be worse in the long run
Only thing that I'm not sure sure about here is you said "kill boss, if it did drop echo go kill another boss because it is guaranteed not to drop echo then come back". I don't think it's guaranteed not to drop one it just doesn't have the pity right? You can still get hit with the 20% chance which would reset your pity
One clarification: I’m pretty sure you explained the pity system wrong. Yes, there is 50% and 25% pity on bosses and elites respectively, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t get lucky and drop 2 echoes in a row. So I do think you’re wrong the way you explained it. I’m pretty sure I got 2 in a row the other day from Inferno Rider. I may be wrong but I’m fairly certain.
its too late at the start I had no idea which set is viable, which character or set I would got or raise. I also tought that finding the echoes is the hard part and I will be able to level them evenetually. I know now but I have 40 tuners and 0 echo exp. no one said - grind ER set + main dps set..., keep the elemental dmg bonus ones that are on the correct set and all that are on the ER set..
on the note about the echo drop method what's the point of going to fight another boss if the one boss your fighting is always gonna drop every second fight. So your still having to fight the same amount of fights to get a echo what's the point?
Way ahead of you on this one, Jenua 😏 I'm only upgrading the ones that I get the right stats on. Yesterday, got the perfect Aero dmg Car for Jiyan & the perfect 3-headed Heron for Mortefi. Still trying to get the Aero dmg Cyan Heron for Jiyan. Probably the hardest to get since it also has a Spectro version. Trying to stock up on XP capsules for now.
