I've realised my portion 'control' was WAY out of control!! It's all calories at the end of the day the volume some eat just shocks me and they wonder why they're not loosing anymore when they've already lost 2-3st and they're a lot smaller than when they started ...I think it's a shame some slimming world consultants don't talk about this at all... I've still got a lot to loose!! But I've realised early I feel blessed!! The reason I got fat was eating loads of the wrong stuff, I've got to eat better and less and realise it's ok to feel hungry for a period of time I don't have to be full the whole day!! My point is even if I have a bad day I don't eat a huge volume of bad stuff anymore as I've realised when I feel full..Great tips thank you!!
Thank you so much for this video. It has helped me to get my head back in the "SW food optimizing" zone. I confess I didn't realise how much I'd begun to adapt the plan to my way instead of sticking to the tried and tested SW way. I've watched this twice in a row to make sure it sticks!

Thank you chick. Needed the facts and to be reminded of the boots I.e speeds etc. Proud i hit and kept 5 stone of weight loss with SW in April 2020 lockdown for over 12 months and now May 2021 I'm bored of same scale numbers and need to eat my best to feel my best. So from tomorrow a SW blue thick journal re starts to get my 6 stone award for summer. Miss the journal 😁💜💪🏾

I've just stumbled across this video so gave it a watch as it's actually really relevant to me. My losses have really slowed down... I lost 1lb last week... and I'm nowhere near target so have been feeling really disheartened and lost with it all... this video has been great to be honest. Really interesting video, was recommended by someone on my Instagram to watch as I keep yoyoing this time round on slimming world. I weigh & measure everything & always check my syn values so couldn't understand why. Think I may have found the answer through your video though, I think I need to up & vary my speed food! You're absolutely right. At the end of the day it's all about calories. SW gives you a fairly easy way to do this! Nibbling bits & bobs is the cause of most of my weight. Eating out on SW a pain when you are vegetarian. Few choices available.

Such great advice I'm 3 1/2 stone down in my journey on SW An have found it easy An great but I do stick to the plan 100% An I'm looking at this plan as for life not just till target but I hear lots of moaning every week at class because people simply aren't getting the results they would like An these are the same people that have treat nights Thursday through till Sunday lol motivation is like a muscle the more u use it the stronger it will become 💁🏼
At the start of my journey I did all the wrong thing so I went back to basics and oh my I lost. For me the plan is basic just like you say stick to it seven day and results are your xx

I've lost around 2 1/2 stone before joining SW and I'd lost 8.5lbs but last week I had a gain of 1.5lbs and now this week I don't seem to be losing. I'm sticking to plan so I don't know why really. Perhaps it's portion control and I'm not having quite enough speed with all meals.
SW is not scientifically sound. Every a single piece of food has calories. A banana, whether you eat it whole or mashed up etc, it contains the exact same calories. SW say that mashing it changed it’s composition? Well eating a banana whole, requires you to chew (masticate) the food in order for your digestive system to break it down for energy. Also, body weight fluctuates throughout the day and a weight loss of 1-2Ibls a week is excellent (the body can only burn off that amount of fat per week, the rest is water loss). Caloric deficit is the way to go. If you don’t believe me then go and do a course in biology, chemistry and biochemistry!!! If someone has managed to lose on SW, it’s only because they are, by coincidence, been in a caloric deficit.!!
+Tricky Nicky yes I am well aware of that. I haven't said it changed the calories of it?! Our UK leading nutritionist, who's a doctor, believes it's about satiety and blending fruit can mean you can over consume it without then feeling full. Therefore leading to more calories. If you don't believe in sw I'm not sure why you'd watch a video about it?!
Hi Nikki, I am 8 lb off my target, I am 100% on plan and do everything that I should be doing, but its hardly showing at the scales. I will not give up but I am struggling when I am giving it everything x

My scales are weight watchers because I do weight watchers I was on weight watchers then I left for slimming world but I did not like it didn’t work for me so I am back on weight watchers
There is no Slimming World in my country so I am trying to piece together the program but I don't think it will work for me. I am very confused as to what free food is. Why is it called free? don't you have to watch how much of it you eat?
My friend has lost 24.5lb to my 11lb and we joined the same time. She does go over her syns some days but has massive losses every week, whereas I'm losing so slowly. It's so disheartening 😢 she loses 3.5lb and 4lb every week without fail. I'm starting to think she's taking orlistat or something haha
Hi Nikki! My mum and I have been doing sw for a couple of weeks. We both lost around 3lbs the first week but now I have put on 3lbs, she put on 2! I've eaten pretty much the same as I did last week, I don't understand why I've put on?
