Link Spider tires can stay inflated for years man. I see this complaint under loads of these types of videos. I've seen lorrys and tractors sitting for decades and the tires still were holding air
lorrys and tractors DO NOT have thin ply Radial tires...radial tires just cannot hold full pressure... unless they have tubes in them...they just will NOT hold air for 20 plus years...you see all these abandoned cars with flat tires..and they have not been sitting for twenty plus years.
The fake dust... The reason they do this is because they're old containers they've bought and auctioned them I'm pretty sure if you pulled off a rag in a container there would be alot of dust buddy.
@@sequtr6954 Okay but the car's condition. They just bought a container from the looks of it and put a DeLorean inside. When Linda started the car the first time she actually didn't.
You do realize that after 20 years all the oil has dripped down into the oilpan and there is nothing left on the engine parts. Shit could seize or weld up when starting the engine without lubrication.
what a pile of shit - DeLorean - 20 years in a storage container but with Sony CDX-L480X Car radio ... :)) - 4:06 - or maybe is back from the future .. :)))
hahahahahahahahahaha...I have owned SIX Deloreans...and in NO WAY will they start up on the first crank after sitting for twenty years....heck they will NOT start up after sitting for one year with the old gas...and those tires would be dry rotted...along with the fuel lines and the Brake master cylinder would be shot from sitting...not to mention the brake calipers would be frozen and the rotors would need to be resurfaced...and the tires even if they somehow managed to hold air would all have flat spots(square tires) from sitting...and the anti-freeze would have done wonders(damage) to that Aluminum engine block...they threw old clothes and some talcum powder on top of those rags to give it the "dusty appearance"...hahahaha how fake and phony....!!!! BTW...I actually did get one that was stored in a storage unit like in the video in Connecticut(USA)...as a trade in on a delorean for his stored delorean plus 14K for My delorean.
After being jumped, having some new oil, and new gas, highly possible. Being in such beautiful condition, under clothing to pretext the paint, is surely possible.
I know one of the people that was there, he lives in my village, I will have to ask him if thus was staged. That car should have flat tyres and a flat battery, nit to mention its probably all seized up.
She doesn't know what the car is, she doesn't know what movie it's from. And she won the car and is going to sell it. She doesn't understand that the longer you keep it, the more expensive it gets. Also I would kill for one.
I had strong suspicions that it was fake a while back. The fact that none of the rest of the "crowd" ever put in successful bids, but this episode put it beyond reasonable doubt. After 20 odd years the battery would be unchargeable. Plus the fact the tyres would have all been flat, brakes seized, etc, etc. And that buffoon with the Hawaian shirt (and his outbursts) would have been "decked" years ago. If you believe this then you'll believe "Back to the future" is a true film.
There is no way any car would start immediately after sitting for 20 years. At the very least it would take a few seconds for fuel to get from the tank to the engine.
The delorean one was bollox, i know someone who has paid to hire that exact car on 3 occasions. Once before this and twice after it was made. Its a car people can hire for tv/film work and special occasions. They also hire out novelty cars such as a delboy car, an ecto-1 and a batmobile replica amongst their range of classic and rare motors.
+vx When English programming comes to America we get Archie Bunker, Three's company, Doctor Who (Yes there was an American TV movie), and Friends. When American programming goes to England... You get THIS shit!!!
If that car was ever stolen, it would go back to it's original owner, happened to a good friend of mine years ago . He got a MG classic mini from a scrap yard.. was just a empty shell.. took years restoring it. Spent thousands on it.. got stopped one day by police.. looked at the chassis number identification number. Had been reported stolen 11 years previous.. he was absolutely gutted.. the man hours he put in that car was year's..do your home work buying any car no matter how old or rusty it looks
Funny thing is.... it's a British made car...the DMC logo on the center cap of the wheel should have been a giveaway...like a American auction and seeing the Corvette logo and not knowing it's a Corvette....how Moronic...
60,000.00 boy I hope you can help me sell mine. Because I'm having a hard time getting 15,000.00 and mine is in excellent condition with 12,000 miles. You all talk the talk on here. Now come on and help me get 60,000.00 and I'll give you 10,000.00 for selling it. What you gonna do?
Well 60.000.00 sure isn't going to happen. And I don't see anyone trying to sell mine and make 10.000.00. what a joke. That car is worth about 4000.00 here in the states and nobody wants them. They are a dime a dozen. JUNK. Wish I never had bought mine.
As a young apprentice mechanic, there’s no way in hell that a car sits for 20 years and just starts right up in a flash like that. You’d have to fill the tires (which are full apparently after 20 years) or out new tires on, Change the oil and the oil filter, replace the old gas with new, change the battery out along with the fuel filter...
At 1:15 he says "where we're going we don't need no roads" that's a line from Back to the Future 2 right at the beginning tjhe move he clearly knows what's under the tarp and sheets before they bought the unit fake
No, they are not. Original BTTF cars and SOME replica BTTF are worth that, but you can get a low mileage DMC in decent shape for under 20K any day of the week.
I hate to be the destroyer of dreams (wait, no I actually LOVE being the destroyer of dreams), but the Delorean's speedometer topped out at 85 mph. The speedometer in the Delorean in BTTF had a slightly modified face to show it capable of 88 mph. There goes her dreams of time travel! BWA HA HA HAA!!
I recall back to the future 3 when they blew up a cave to get to the Delorean that had sat there for like 80 years I bet that car would have started and run on this show hahahaha
25 YEARS in storage and all it needed was a "jump"??? What utter bullshit! The gas would be so bad that the lines would be clogged solid, the cylinders would be seized, the engine oil would be like molasses, and the tires (tyres) would have so much dry-rot that they would not hold air! (at the least they would have been flat since they lose 5% of their air per month due to the air molecules passing through the rubber) Utter, utter bullshit!!!
Todos los programas de este tipo son una mentira de principio a fin... Supuestamente ese automóvil tenía años de estar parado, no necesitó de ningun tipo de reparación para ponerlo en marcha? Mentirosos!!!
So that guy said, if its a non runner its worth £10k but if it runs £25k. At brand new engine from Renault plus fitting would cost £15k!. And when she turns it over, after 20 years of neglect, it didnt even need a squirt of fuel in the carbs and started up straight away? More science fiction than the movie.
Do you know how fake this show is..........I work next to a storage company and I watched for 2 days as the production team put stuff in the lockers including the car!! !
Shenanigans! I call shenanigans! That was the most fake reaction I have ever seen on a Storage Hunters show. The idea and look of covering a classic car with blankets!? Really?? Comm'on TV writers and producers!

Que nadie lo lamente !!!!! La oportunidad era para todos. Felicidades .saludos desde mexico
People say it won't run because they didnt change this and that while sitting for 20 years or so. Mate you know its tv right? And on tv there's this thing called EDITTING so...there you go, wont be able to see everything.
As a UK Delorean owner, and club historian, I was surprised when, a few years ago we were asked if we knew of a car that could be hired for a few weeks.....this show the result! Any owner know that the batteries go flat after a few weeks of storage, unless you disconnect them. This show is absolute rubbish...in fact it put me off watching it...... for ever!........ever cloud has a silver lining!
This 'knockoff' show sucks. The annoying auctioneer has to be in every camera shot, he's a crappy auctioneer, and the decision to include him into bins while buyers are rummaging thru them? What an annoyance. Bad humor, staged, hacky bidders.
why not show the people what they're bidding on. you could've sold it for more. plus 20 years idle don't start like that. funny when he said if it doesn't run it's worth on 10k. Have you heard of a mechanic?
The people are so fake.... and everytime: its about £10 worth and never and never you see people actually sell the shit.. just say what They think its worth xD
No shit it wouldn't start if its been stood for 20 years (or so they say) also 2.6k for a delorean? sure....... maybe add a few thousand to that price and it might make it believable
All fake on that show but - If you sell a vehicle the rightful owner can claim the money raised up to a year afterwards (minus your removal, storage and disposal costs).
Lmao. So that Delorian was in storage for over 20 years and u mean to tell me it still started up with just a charge? I’m fkin dying. I guess they think only small children watch the show bc that car would not start up if it actually sat for 20 years.
Sorry but the Deloreon was not a muscle car in no way. It had a very small engine .v6 to be exact. And you can only get about 15000.00 for one in excellent condition. So why lie about it.
its real and the car is from the movie called (TO THE FUTURE) which is an old movie its the car but... the main paint was kinda like removed or got stained and the accesories and edits of the car and custumization was removed but the fake is to the future edit in the video
It was more satisfying to see the fat guy in the Hawaiian shirt be disappointed and lose the bid. He was annoying AF!!! Love that car, it's my favorite!!
can you say staged? 20 yrs car starts right up, gas would have broken down and froze the lines, on top of the hard starting problems the DeLorean had in the first place, no flat spot on tires. seems this show is just as crappy as the American version
Definitely staged engine would have pistons seized and engine could have been locked up from sitting and how were the tires inflated for 20+ years fishie right
roflol bad actors, fake show and a Delorean sitting in a storage for 20 years that starts at the first crank? those cars didn't run proper when they're brand new rolling from the factory back in the days xD don't tell me that after 20 years tires are still fine, battery isn't flat, fuel(lines) aren't shitty and so on lol
Fake show and all but you should never start a car thar has been sitting for years like that. You gotta do a proper tune. Specially oil. All that nasty oil in the bottom of the oil pan. No good for the engine. Delorean engines are shit already.
