Legends say that we are still waiting for the Yellow Lamborghini.

My great grandma passed away two years ago and said me, an eleven year old could have anything I wanted from her old storage unit in her will. As I looked around I saw a full plastic bag with a not saying "Eva's 12th birthday present" I was so devastated by it but decided to take it and open it in front of my family members that were there. I opened it and what I saw was pictures of her all around the world with $200 worth of money from every place that she went. There was yen from Japan, Euro from Europe, there were pounds from Britain, Canadian dollars, Rand from South Africa, Australian/ New Zealand Dollars and so much more. Then at the bottom there was another note it said "I hope you can use these on your adventures around the world, best of luck, the Greatest Grandma"

I was in a 2nd hand type store. As a Raider (football) fan I love to collect and buy Raider stuff. I found a practically brand new Raiders Parka style 7in one jacket.. official Raiders jacket. Had tags still on it and it was probably only a year or so old. They wanted 50$ for it. I bought it. I decided one day to wear it to a game late in season on a pretty cold day. I put it on and noticed something was in the inside breast pocket.. pulled it out and it was $1,700 cash. Someone left all that cash in it and the store people never checked the pockets or didn't see the inside one. Either way I came up big time.😁

When I was in my early 20s I worked at the mall for an optometrist and during my lunch break I went outside to eat my lunch in the food court only to find a small bag from a jewelry store. When I opened it I found a pair of diamond earrings. Found out they were worth about $5000. I did go to security/information booth whom i knew very well and told him that I had found the earrings. I was going to hold onto them and if somebody came forward to ask if they had been found, to come look for me in my office. A good month or so passed by and no one ever came, so I got to keep them 😁. These diamond earrings were so big and beautiful.

As a kid - in sixth grade - there was excavation going on across the street from the school to build a housing development. The land movers worked at leveling massive hills. On one weekend - we were riding our bikes as a gang of about a dozen of us. The areas exposed by the land graders were sandy with layers of hardened claystone and a type of shale. We were riding up the hills and down having lot's fun in the sand - then one boy discovered that the shale would break apart into layers - exposing ferns, plants, shells, corals, and small fish parts as fossils in the stone. Turned out, these fossils were all over the place. I took some home and showed my parents what a cool fern fossil looked like. My father was very excited so he decided to go look the area over for himself. He spent two days digging, breaking shale-clay and finding hundreds of fossils. Then he found a small 2 1/2 inch Trilobite and was thrilled. He called the local museum - they came to look at what he had - and HE GAVE THEM EVERYTHING amounting to approximately 4-bushel baskets of fossils. The curators wanted to know where all of it was found - and Dad told them. Within days afterward - the construction area was fenced off with a Keep Out sign - and we watched college students and museum staff plunder the site. Eventually, they did find a partial Mammoth skeleton as well. I have never found anything like this since then. That was back in 1962.

That particular paycheck included a storewide bonus for everyone and we don't know what it is until it hits our paycheck. So no I didn't think anything was wrong. Turns out my clock out time wasn't taken and they paid me for 6pm to 8am. They didn't require me to return the money since it was an internal error. That was my luckiest money thus far.
