Regarding the lack of things to dry your hands in bathrooms in Japan: that's because here everyone is expected to carry a handkerchief with them everyday that is used for drying hands, and you have a rotation of them that you wash with your laundry so that you always have a clean one. I've got nothing for the rest of the bathroom quandries though.

The thing with not washing your hands after the bathroom even in Japan blew my mind. It happens so often when I am at a public bathroom like in university. Now it went so far that I was always paying attention if someone leaving washed their hands. And I gotta say, half of them don't. And many from the other half think it's enough to let some water drip on your hands and "wash" them for 3 seconds without using soap... One answer I got when asking why he didn't wash his hands was: "Bruh, I didn't piss on them..." And me, who always thought that washing your hands after was self explanatory am just like "wtf? Dude, do you want to shake hands with someone who was grabbing his dick right before and didn't wash his hands?" Yeah, no matter the season, Please wash your hands (with soap)

Last year at Evo Japan they put me on Stream for my first match. Being a Bronze rank was pretty embarrassing getting bodied in front of a crowd of people. When I asked why they picked me they said "random selection" 🤔.
