In Sumy, she was a displaced person and it was there that she learned about the International Organization for Migration. The IOM in Ukraine helped Elena start her career as a hairdresser. When she moved to Belarus, Elena knew where to turn.
The IOM office in Belarus helped her pay for courses in social media marketing (SMM) so that she could better promote her services and build a client base. She worked hard and dreamed of opening her own salon in Minsk. Do you think her dream came true?
