What precious times! Your family is your reward in your golden years. How wonderful that all of y'all are so close. We live in Western Ky and on Wednesday we had over 11 inches of rain in 24 hours....major flooding in the town near us (which is still recovering from an F4 tornado that wiped out the town in December 2021). But other than the heavy rain washing out our driveway, we thankfully are fine. This extreme weather is something we are all going to have to get used to and prepare for. Thanks for posting such an uplifting video, Nanny. It brightens my spirit.❤

And yes vinca cannot take a lot of hot sun; I can't even grow it here in West Texas except in the spring. I had something eat part of my tomatoes, it was my CAT! I loved seeing you sitting there without make up in your beautiful robe enjoying your cup of coffee with the sun rising behind you. Children are beautiful and loving. The vase with sunflowers is very cheerful and fills the kitchen with light and joy. The heat has been unbearable in almost every European countries, fortunately until now, Portugal, still hasn’t reached high temperatures due to the anti-cyclone in the Azores. That's a lovely spot to sit and have your morning coffee. The view is fabulous! I shouldn't complain as I know so many parts of the US and Europe are experiencing so much heat at the moment. We've had showery weather since the beginning of July and I would just love some of our June weather back...about 70/75. I miss it. We get what we get I guess! Your great grandbabies are just so sweet, beautiful scenes of you and Moose reading and playing with them. Great memories being made. Take care in the heat, I know you do! xx

Watched you and lovely family today while on vacation in very beautiful Scotland. The day is sunny, crystal clear and comfortable I imagine much like your Idaho vacation. But I know you remember from your time in Scotland how quickly dark clouds can appear. Nanny even with, as you described it, your bed head and no makeup you looked very grand in your royal blue robe sipping a good coffee in your garden. Mornings like that are one of the earned joys of older age when we can take time to just leisurely enjoy the moment or reflect on all that has been accomplished in a long and really blessed life.

My two grandkids( 21 & 18 ) and their 4 cousins reshot their old photos last Christmas, it was hilarious. The only ones we joked they couldn’t reenact was the ones that at night we would bathe the 6 of them together.

The sound is just fine. I didn't even hear the plane.

Nannie my grandfather went deaf one day. Couldn't hear anything. Back then the local doctor came out to check him out and found that he had hard wax plugging his ears. Once he cleared it out, grandpa was fine. Hope Moosie is fine with his hearing. My husband also uses the VA for his ears and hearing aids. Those babies are precious.

Hi from Annie, it is so nice catching up with family and the kids are so sweet, it is nice to read and sing with the little ones. The pooch looks lovely and healthy and well groomed, with his blueberry facial too. Those sunflowers and vase make a perfect gift. Here in Adelaide it has been very cold wet windy it is winter time here.Your flowers and plants are doing well in that weather. It i s lovely to make more memories with everyone you love especially family if you can, as it is something you cherish forever.

Such an enjoyable video-absolutely loved watching you and Moosie interacting with your great grandchildren. Colleen’s birthday vase is absolutely beautiful-nobody would ever know it was thrifted…WOW!!! We are certainly experiencing an insufferable heat wave in the southeast. I live in Georgia almost in the center of the state and we are about to burn up as the saying goes-very little rain really makes it worse, too. Walking outside after about 9 a.m. is like walking into an oven. It does cool down a little bit overnight, but once the sun gets up in the sky it’s almost impossible to be outside unless we are in our swimming pool-thank God for having a pool for sure…!!! We had such a long spring with several cold snaps this year, even into April which really confused all the foliage. Many perennials got damaged by frost and I never got around to getting any annuals for around the pool this year, which with this horrific heatwave we are having is indeed a blessing not having to suffer the heat to get out and water. We are in our 60’s-My husband also takes Eloquis-he has been taking it since he was in his 50’s due to having A-fib. Blood thinners can really be scary sometimes for sure!!!!! I wish he didn’t have to take it for so many reasons!!!! We have a large motorhome and enjoy traveling, so I totally understand how your daughter and her family enjoyed their trip and taking Harley along. We have traveled with our dogs for many years and wouldn’t have it any other way!!!!! Our frequent travels take us on many short trips and a few long trips, which is another reason why I have gotten away from so many outside flowers. It gets just too hot here for plants to survive without constant care. Your garden is so beautiful, but I know it is a huge commitment and a lot of work-so glad you have an automatic watering system-if I had that I would have lots of plants because I do enjoy gardening very much. It’s a shame all your plants aren’t automatically watered. You and Moosie be careful in the heat!!!!!

I've been on Eliquis for several years. I too am losing my hearing, so I sometimes have to ask somone to repeat what whatever they were saying. I've never had my ears checked, but I know I need to do that one of these days. You are such a wonderful caretaker for Moosey. I know he is very grateful.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

We see things through their innocent eyes. Yes the giggles and laughter is contagious. I remember that my husband did not wear his hearingsharon aids because he said that they picked up surrounding sounds. I used to have a soft voice. As his hearing became worse, I spoke louder. It became a habit for him to ask me to repeat myself. I still do speak loud. Harley looks absolutely worn out from her trip! Poor baby…lol. Well I need to try to get some sleep. Hi nanny I had the same trouble with my mother it was extremely frustrating for everyone! You may get his ears wax removed!! Too much wax impacted is what caused my mother's hearin loss They have great hearing aids now It's vital to be able to communicate!! Hearing loss will shut down communication

Nanny, it’s good to know that one can enjoy life at any age. Life is always worth living and never giving up and being positive is a must plus most important is believing in God. Our society needs to realize it is a privilege from God to get to your age and beyond. As I am maturing my skin has changed from t-zone to normal and now yes, dry! I am loving the Bio-Oil. Thank you also for promptly sharing the souffle recipe. Yum! About moisturizing your face, You did not mention using the castor oil. Since you spoke about jamaican castor oi last year, I have been using it on my face and body (usually after taking a shower or bath, as they say its good for achy joints.. I feel for your dear Moose. Its not easy having to cope with mobility issues and then also the hearing.It cam be even scary to have to live and learn to cope with these changes, Moose is blessed to have a loving family and a wonderful wife like you are. I have two friends who have been loosing a bit of their hearing and it can be at times difficult and tiresome trying to speak with them especially while on the phone. Will say a prayer that all gets straightened out. God Bless ❤🙏💕

What a nice surprise. Wasn’t expecting a video at this time. I’m getting ready for bed. A nice way to settle down watching you. Moosie and you are so correct about the grandchildren. They are my joy. It was good to see you reading to her. You are wonderful grandparents. You are also correct about hearing. Most of my life my father had a hearing problem, actually legally deaf, but he didn’t have a hearing aide until I was older. It is terrible shouting and trying to communicate. We used to write notes. Even though you have a light wheelchair, it is still difficult, especially at your age. My mother was in a wheelchair for 26 years with a regular wheelchair. You are amazing. Sunflowers are my favorite also. Your arrangement looked beautiful. My landlord just gave me his first tomatoes. I was surprised they came out to quickly here on the east coast. I made a tomato sandwich with mayonnaise. So good. Thanks again for this beautiful video. And you look beautiful without the makeup. Have a good evening. ❤

So glad Moosie is A-Ok after his fall. Love you both and so glad to see how blessed you are by your 6 children, numerous grandchildren and the GREAT Grands! Wanted to give you a tip, Nanny, since you talked about Neutrogena to moisturize . Have you heard about “slugging”? Using Vaseline to hold moisture in your face and body! I watched a dermatologist talk about the overwhelming benefits. After that, a favorite memory is that Doris Day was known to slather Vaseline ALL over her body! I’ll need a couple of jars nightly to do that (lol)!!!❤️

Nanny I wanted to share a combination of skin care creams that really worked recently for me..both inexpensive by Cetaphil daily hydrating lotion with Hyaluronic acid over top of thatCetaphil 13:00 moisture cream cream in a tube Sensitive intense 48hr hydration..these two together I have really noticed my skin improving from extremely dry to more normal …hope you get to try this😊

Nanny, just an observation. I think you rub your neutrogena into your face for too long, making it absorb into your fingers rather than your face and neck ❤

Nanny, try deepening your voice instead of talking louder. I don’t know if that will work for you and your husband, but it’s been helpful for us. There are tones my husband can hear more easily. It’s very frustrating.

I have hearing aides for over three years and only wore them 2-3 X, they are more of a neusance than a help. They do not block out the back ground noise and if someone speaks really low or if their words run together you still can't make out what they say. One of the worse things about being HARD OF HEARING NOT DEAF is that people tend to avoid you like you are a leper. I am so sick of it i started to just stay to myself.🥲🥲🥲
