AMAZING! How do you not have hundreds of thousands of subscribers? Love the originality, the video, the editing, the projects which make me get up and make stuff! Congrats on producing such inspiration with such generous value!
LOL Cyd - you made me feel awesome with this comment! I truly enjoy making these videos, and if there are hundreds of thousands of creatives out there that need a little encouragement or inspo - I hope they find their way here. Thank YOU for being here. 🥰
I would like this video 10 times if there was that option--15! Seven of the most useful and beautiful ways of storing the ridiculous volume of papers we all have. Thank you!
Awesome ideas! Thanks so much for sharing. I’m always looking for new or better ways to get organized. And storing my various papers and scraps are always on the list. Lol.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked the ideas. Storing all the papers is an everyday challenge for me, so I HAD to make this video 😂 Thank you for being here, Alida! 🥰
Such great ideas. Atm I put mine in boxes but I do forget that I have made papers or textiles starter pieces so your ideas are more than useful. Particularly like the kids storage frames. Be nice to rotate them. Thanks x
✨💖✨ Surprisingly I already store some of my papers in similar ways to how you demonstrated but not the children's frames, I might try that out. I don't use sheet pans , too big and heavy for me, but I use banker box lids or shoe box lids to sort projects and, because I usually work very small (think atc's), I also sort projects in cello bags kinda like what's used on higher end greeting cards.
Thank you for your kind words and for watching, Karen. I promise to use them soon and show what I do, but right now, I'm still too attached to them. 😂 Hence the reason for so many storage options 😂🤣😂
My daughter is a professional baker and last year it dawned on me about the Speed Racks and the sheet pans for storage. I have a short one on wheels and I use full and half sheet pans. I'm going to have to get another though, I store all kinds of finished art and working pieces on it and it's full..lol I found the best price for them was on Amazon. Thank you for all your great idea!
Hey Jackie, I love how thorough you were for storage ideas, no matter the living conditions! Now, my next question is...when do we see what some of your finished creations are with some of these papers??
@@PaintedPaperStudio I certainly understand the need to have all the things in their proper place...I cannot create freely in a "noisy" or "chaotic" art space! I just really appreciate all the color theory experiments, and look forward to how they come together for you!
Absolutely perfect timing on this vid. I’m inundated with paper everywhere. I’m getting started on this today! Doable and so grateful for your great ideas- easy to see you’re a working artist- your paper stash is amazing. ❤️❤️❤️👍👍
Awesome, Teri - I'm so glad this video showed up when you needed it, and I'm so happy you're taking action on it. When my papers are out of control, I feel out of control. Thanks so much for watching! 🥰
That is a wonderful decorative corner. It is artwork as is. The only tricky part would be remembering which paper is in which storage method. Those last rings you hung on the wall would work on your tension bar as well. Those kids frames are awesome. I had 😅never heard of them before but they are a great way to hang/display a finished collage or other artwork with storage snide, dust free. Thanks for the awesome ideas.
Loved these ideas. I’m using the rainbow stacked cart from the container store as I get started. I’d post a pic but don’t know how. I particularly love the curtain Rod idea. Thank you.
Thank you, Judy - I think I know exactly which cart you are talking about - is it this one...www.containerstore.com/s/office/craft-hobby/8-drawer-rolling-cart/12d?productId=11019659
Very cool storage Ideas! I use a couple of your suggestions already, but the baking pans and those art frames are great! Thanks for sharing your tips with us.
Fantastic. Thank you! I did buy the bakers shelves with the large baker pans for storage and they work very well. But the last three ideas you demonstrated were new to me. I will definitely be trying them out too.
I have baker shelve envy, Nancy! 😍 Someday, when I carve out some space in this room, I'll get one too. Let me know how the other options work out for you. 🥰
😃 ❤ OMGosh Jackie! I LOVE your idea of using the frames to store collage papers! Currently, I use the other ideas you presented. But the frame idea is so cool and looks so arty! I’m going to pick some up today! Thank you so much for sharing!
Hi Jackie 😊 this is such a great video with unconventional ideas. I'm gonna keep them in my back pocket. My move back into my studio has once again been delayed by a child wanting to move home for a few months. Eventually, I'll get back in there and your ideas will be implemented. I'm going to have to check the college surplus store for one of those racks you talked about. Thanks for another great video 😍😍
Jackie, those ideas are great - but do you also have some for sloping walls? My studio has a great amount of floor storage 🤣, but a lack of straight walls. I liked the transparent boxes, because one sees the colours. And they also look nice. I was laughing out loud, when you mentioned the danger of "overstorage". That´s probably the most dangerous danger for all people, who like to print on geliplates. Thanks for this enlightening video. (And may I say, that you look wonderful with your hair open?!) Have a nice weekend. Britta
Oh no, Britta - sloped walls must be such a challenge! I'm not sure what would work for angled walls. I hope someone else has a good suggestion for you. Also, thank you for your very kind words. Right after I finished filming this my husband & I went away for the weekend (I didn't want a "bump" in my hair while we were gone 😂💜)
