I don't think we'll get a Season 2 despite the ends of Main and DLC stories cause not enough copies have been sold. It's a shame cause I really like the game even if some bugs are really annoying and I'd like to play a few more characters (Moon Knight, Punisher,...)
I hope there’s a season 2 pass. I would love to see some more street themed characters. Iron fist would make a amazing support/damage, plus mystical themed character. Then give either Electra or DD. Both fit the theme well, but I feel their kits could be too similar. Moon knight would be a great pick as well. Of course Thor, I feel like he’s teased throughout the game often. His kit has so much potential. (Quick edit) more X-men characters would be great as well. Nightcrawler, beast, gambit, colossus, magneto, quicksilver all have reasons to show up and would make excellent dlc. Most importantly Jean grey with a phoenix mechanic when she goes down. Bruh that would be crazy

I love how Basically She's a REVERSE version of Tony xD Rather than using THEIR turn and THEIR cards to boost herself (a la Tony) she uses HER cards to boost THEM xD It's really rather clever
Now THIS is a DLC character. AOE + support skills with really high damage potential to boot. Storm seems like an absolute powerhouse BUT adds a whole new layer of thinking to your gameplay strategy too. So glad she’s not another one dimensional murder machine. This was really the make or break for the DLC so far, and I like what I see
Thoughts on Storm: - Cool character design visually and gameplay wise -Seems to fit well with a lot of team comps -Strong passive with stuns and strong cards overall but is offset by next turn mechanic. Definitely makes you have to think about your actions on a higher difficulty. I think Storm works well with another that wants to play their cards first then wait like Spider-man and Venom. The reason I say this is because Venom’s passive regenerates after each turn and Spider-man can make use of environmental damage before Storm uses those huge aoe attacks. I think she can work with Magiik or Ghost Rider in a comp due to her knock backs being able to utilize portals or hell drops. Storm is strong in general with any map that allows you to knock people off the screen. Stormshield/ Live Wire are good support abilities that allow her to be slotted in as a utility character alongside Blade, Deadpool, or Hulk. I definitely want to experiment with all the dlc characters now that the season pass is fully completed. Firaxis made all the characters so unique and fun. Im thankful that modifications can provide twists to each character’s core abilities. Looking forward to clocking another 50+ hours to see what I can figure out! Hopefully this game did well enough to see a Season Pass 2 or Midnight Suns 2 in the future!
I actually adored the initial team of Storm, Magik, and Wolverine. A metric ton of knockback, AOE, and chain damage between the three of them. More than enough damage mitigation to survive most encounters.
A good strategy with her is to double the card's that boost her like live wire. I usual use Nico double up skills or that legendary item card that create doubles of a hero card to boost her offense 200% and throw a strength bonus on top of that she becomes a Force of Nature ⚡️❄️🌧🌪
Storm is OP af in this game but I really wished they used other abilities that she is supposed to have Here’s what’s missing; Replace her usual shove from lightning to a gust of wind Switch her environment from a ball of lightning to a tornado A chain ability where she levitates in the air and spins round. Attacking multiple targets (from the Last Stand) perhaps that’s the name of the ability Give her an ability where she can make it either rain down in her allies curing them from bleeding affects OR Rain down hale to apply bleed affects to enemies Give her an ability upon selecting a target, to levitate in the air summoning a tornado to raise an enemy and then fire down a bolt of lightning which completely destroys the enemy, if they have block then it wipes it out Give her an option between two legendary abilities Either summon bolts of lightning in an area, or summon a meteor shower I defo like the idea of an ability where she creates a blizzard and can trap foes in coats of ice/snow to apply bind Perhaps another wind ability to pull enemies together to allow teammates to use environmental, chain or area affects easier on their next turn Storm should also have an ability to generate fog to either conceal her and her allies OR To confuse enemies so they all individually and randomly throughout the turn such as: Falling off ledges (if close by), dashing into hazards, setting off traps, betraying enemies or just simply moving aside Could also be removed in turn to allow drawbacks such as if she is damaged or bleeds etc Storm was handled well in the game and she is one of my favourites but I feel there’s some missing elements She’s the Goddess of Weather for a reason If there’s ever a sequel I hope they make her more versatile ❤❤
Dude, I bought the season pass and only morbius, venom and deadpool showed up. I was already passed the Johnny Blaze sacrifice when I bought the season pass.
Me again 😂😂 Also we still could get a season 2 and/or a sequel Although it didn’t sell well, the reviews are very very pleasing Also we have to remember Storm’s DLC released in April and in May they released the game for PS4 & Xbox One respectively. Meaning it’s only been four months Hoping people but copies and play the game. Especially as it’s so good for replays Most sequels to games don’t come out til a couples of years after This is certainly an franchise worth saving And there were cliff hangers that need to be followed 😢😢❤❤ We still have a chance, it would be worse if this game was a couple of years old but it’s still fairly new so we shall see Let’s think about I folks If they release a second 2 DLC it could and I quote, bring back it’s fans and give it a huge fan base. Bringing in new gamers etc Especially if a sequel is planned releasing another DLC ‘first’ is a smart move and then have a huge marketing campaign for the sequel to get the hype ❤❤
Well storm really doesnt have any utility beyond the stun.. Resist is pointless. Game is heavily balanced around killing everything thing in 1 turn, and considering Iron Man can still solo ult+3 missions in 1 turn. Bringing Wanda or Strange for support and hunter or favorite hero just makes sense.
