Agree. This coaster was incredible. Lap bars, death anxiety at first row, had me shaking after my first ride, definitely got my bloodpump going. Then i did 4 runs, and it just got better and better. I agree with the roughness. Back row felt smooth, while front row was shaking.
Vekoma technically did vertical lifts on the Giant Inverted boomerangs, but one with a completely circuit? I doubt over 65 degrees has been done for an invert otherwise (someone check the invertigos)
I would seriously love to see one of these with a vertical lift and a beyond-vertical drop. You know, an inverted Euro-Figher basically. GERSTLAUER PLEASE 😭
Just rode it today! And the front row was actually very painful! Worse than thunder coaster, but the layout and forces are so good! Btw it pulls 5.6 G’s in the reverse side winder
If Tusenfryd knows about the roughness, how would they be able to adjust it? Get larger coaster wheels? Even retrack certain segments? Hopefully something like this goes to Kings Dominion in spirit of Volcano. But would Cedar Fair trust this ride model? I may never know.
I believe there're several ways wheel can be adjusted on coaster trains to account for rattling. For reference, Mælkevejen at Tivoli Gardens vibrated a lot when it opened, but no longer does. I believe Cedar Fair would trust it, as it's very similar to the regular Infinith Coaster model, which they already installed at Knott's Berry Farm
This would be a good chance for Kings Dominion to revive Volcano: The Blast Coaster into a Gerstulaur Terrain Launch Inverted Coaster with a new Model Volcanic mountain kind of similar to the Volcano in the movie Dante's Peak.
