Storms Coming As More Clean Up Work Continue At Camp On Old Family Farm Homestead In Pennsylvania 

I normally try not to give unsolicited advice, but you need to try to find an old Dr mower. They are much tougher than lawn mowers and can sometimes be found for not much money. I have used mine in stuff that would destroy any lawn mower and it still works.

I can see how just being surrounded by the woods would energize you and at the same time chill your inner soul. You have a gift for making the most of what you have, and no doubt, what nature gives you, that too will become even more. THANK YOU for sharing.

Save a couple of those trees near your van for a hammock.

I wish I could help you with all that clean up! The before and after would be SO SATISFYING and such great exercise! Work all day, make a good dinner at night and sit by a fire surveying your work! That would be a great few days! Have fun! I would build a fire, est and sit doing diamond painting until I could head for bed! Lol. I'm a weirdo, I know!

I would definitely bring up a hammock and find a spot to hang it up between a couple of trees. Great getaway spot especially with the high prices of campgrounds.

There’s enough work to keep you busy and out of trouble😂🤣. You must have a chainsaw , it would be quick work to clear a nice space but it would be noisy. Some of those small trees might pull out easy with the van rack just so you don’t have sharp little stumps poking up to pop your tires. My daughter and son in law were avoiding getting a chainsaw when we live in a very wooded area and trees are starting to close in, especially the driveway. The oil truck refused to try and get in so they were slowly trimming a bit with a little handsaw so I got them a mini chainsaw for Christmas a couple of years ago and they have had a blast thinning and shaping lots of tall thin trees. I see a full sized one in their future. 😂 Have fun mowing and clearing, and grass seeding , hope you beat the storm home. Bella’s having so much fun being free and smelling all the smells🙋🏼‍♀️

I love what you're doing with your camp. I've been wondering when you were going to do something with it for what, 3 years now? Clearing out those little saplings will make a huge difference. I can picture having a couple more sites cleared to allow some friends to share your camp every now and then. It looked like you could put in a little loop in up at the far end that would allow you to pull straight in, go around the loop, and be headed out without having to back up. You'd have to clear a few trees, but what an improvement that would be! looks great Dave!

It is amazing how quickly it grows but it is manageable in small bits.

Absolutely love your plans for the property. I think getting all the dead trees down is smart, taking out the baby tress, will make for a lovely under a canopy of trees forest lawn. This all takes time, so take your time. Make it that special place for You and Bella and your family to enjoy instead paying out hard earned cash to those campsites. And to share with certain Tribal/Nomad friends, since they share their property with their special friends... I wish I could be out there helping you OR had a spot like that of my own. Why don't you rent a heavy duty chipper to get rid of all that brush? Might be easier than burning.

Develop a walking path to explore. It will be fun for the Bella as well. I’m one state over from you in Ohio and will soon be doing the same with my land. Maybe we can share camps with each other one day. Funny that I get the same weather just before you within several hours.🏕️🤗♌️

Your doing good with the mowing. It looks real purdy looking down the lane you mowed. It will look so much better with clearing out the small trees. They are taking away growth of the larger trees. Is there any water wells on the old property? How about city water? Would be a nice place to build a cabin for the family to use. Bring it back to life out there.

It must be wonderful to have open access to such a beautiful area out in the hills that your family owns. I am parked in full sun down here in Willcox Az and I have been running the minisplit AC full blast all day so far in my class A RV and I think I may have to go run through the lawn sprinkler for a minute or two in order to cool down. It's not that it gets so hot here during the Summer months, but the elevation really makes the sun intense unless you are in shade. Oh well, my solar panels are keeping the AC running steady and no shore power needed. Bah-Boom! Enjoy your days and it's always great seeing a new video from you.
