Sorry but this doesn't make sense because bring a 9 down gives you 3x8 so 30% compared to the 18%. That is if you can utilise them. Same for all levels.

What I said is that it is not worth making all gems the same number. As was the popular zeitgeist at the time [This vid is 9 months old ]. The original link I gave you contains the calculator and how to use it, this is the best way to get the optimal results on your gems.
