I've not really had the time to figure out how to set up a complete modular ecu & transmission system, so this tutorial is just what I needed! I was looking for something exactly like this - everything I need to know explained in video form so I can follow along and learn everything useful along the way. thank you so so much. ive been trying to find a video of how to make a functional car and be able to make a engine ecu. the other tutorials i found wasnt ment for cars, required to download an ecu, or dosent work at all. and this video is just what i need. you did a good job, keep it up!

Great tutorial, i watched it and copied the MC, adapted to my truck and it's the smoothest controller ever used! I modified a couple of things to use an ignition key and have it work with my other controllers, amazing stuff! I even learned some stuff along the way, so thanks a lot! Bye bye NJ MC
Hey man. Late to this one. But I'm here when I need it. Love your tutorials. A certain state related name other channel has great stuff too, but I find those to always be a little too quick and dirty. Yours expand a bit more to include the way you'd LIKE things to work, as well as comparing to IRL, not just getting them out of the hanger. I think that's great.
@Captain_Cockerels, I came across your video after quite a few searches on how to get an engine to idle. I tried to apply some of that logic to one of the Pre-Fab engines and cannot get them to idle where I want. They just constantly rev up. Basically after the PID I just have a number output for the Throttle going to the engine instead of the Air and Fuel manifolds like you do (since I am not using those.) What steps have I missed? This will be for the Large Diesel engine I am using in my boat. I am still trying to understand all the logic and what not. But 95% of the things I want to do I have been able to achieve. However this is killing me. Thank you for your videos and any other suggestions! Also the gearbox tutorial towards the end answered so many of my questions. So thanks for that as well!
I've replicated this with my own engine. I'm having a problem with my engine revving while it's on. It'll hit top-end and then it will bottom out, making the starter enable. This happens every other second. I know my engine setup works because I had it running with the analog logic gates. I'm not sure what could be making my engine do this. Any help?

Yes. It is a basic, yet a comprehensive guide. Explaining complexity takes time. These longer comprehensive guides are in response to the constant barrage of comments I see on reddit for example. People will watch a 10 minute tutorial (that has 2 min of intro and outro). Then they will flock to: reddit, the forums, or discord and ask a ton of questions. Because the 10 minute tutorial is not comprehensive enough. This is a complex game. Detailed explanations make the game more approachable and less daunting to new players. If this guide is not for you. Or you do not have the: time, attention span, or inclination to watch a comprehensive guide. I wonder why you are commenting? There are plenty of short tutorials that may be better suited to you.
