Agreed. My father-in-law was 19 when he married my mother-in-law, who was 23 with a 3 year old and a 16 month old. Bio-Dad had signed away his parental rights to get out of paying back child support. Having raised two sons who are in their 20s, I can't imagine a 19 year old marrying a whole family like that.
nope not entirely true bro if her mom is a racist piece of shit who hates me and only sees me as a worthless pos then fuck no lmfaoo ill marry her daughter and never see her mom idgaf
You don't have to be related by blood to be family. That's actually the case with my maternal grandfather. I'm not related to him by blood, but I still think of and remember him as being my real grandfather, and I know that my mother considers him to be her real father despite her not being related to him by blood either. My mother's biological father one day just up and left without a word and never returned, leaving my grandmother to raise my mother alone until she re-married, so I have absolutely zero interest in ever meeting or knowing my maternal grandfather (I don't even know or care if he's still alive or has passed away). Even though I was still very young when he passed away (his own mother actually outlived him by a large margin), I was 9 when he passed away, but I still remember that every time I saw him, he'd give me a $1 bill. And the few photos there are of him and me together (one of which is of me sitting on his lap while he drives a riding lawnmower....with his hat on my head) clearly shows how much we enjoyed each other's company.
I am so happy to have seen this vedio of this reunion. The love of a family that truly loves each other is priceless.I wish the twin girls and their brother all the happiness in the world. How fortunant are they to have parents that love them and will continue on loving them. A thank you goes out to these parents for doing such a great job raising their children.
Since none of us know the reason for the divorce, we can never judge them. He was there for the most important time in their lives, helping to successfully transition them from childhood to young adulthood. He earned the title of Daddy. Any man can father a child. It takes a real man to be a Daddy. Since the divorce was amicable and they agreed to co-parent, it showed they kept the children's welfare and needs ahead of their own. Good on them.
So are they! Speaking as an ex soldier, I can definitely say that families don't receive the recognition they deserve. Whilst on deployment/active duty, a soldiers' family go through a lot of hardship and heartbreak.
@@arthurjarrett1604 I agree, my father was in the Army so I well know what we had to deal with and it is very hard, especially on the spouse or parent left home to carry the weight of an entire family without help. I wish more folks were aware of the hardship it is as a whole for a family. Thank you for your service!! Hope you are enjoying every moment home with your own family. Know it's made you more appreciative of the smallest of things most at home don't.
Two beautiful young ladies! I would love to have 2 daughters just like them. Although divorced, parents are very supportive of their kids. Good for them!
I like that that the parents stayed friends even after the divorce. It helps the kids immensely. My parents stayed friends after they divorced and it help me get through some tough times because of it.
My two sisters and I were adopted by a childless aunt and uncle when our father was killed during WWII, and our mother took off. It was a life-long blessing for all of us because there were no better parents on the face of the globe and we were blessed by ending up with them, and successful adults, with one teacher, another a Registered Nurse, and me as a Graduate Professor. Otherwise, we would have been mired is a very dysfunctional family. This reminds me of that situation, and Cody is definitely a REAL man, and fatherhood is what that demands. God bless him and the girl’s’ mother in bringing them up in the Spirit of the Lord!
@@FSUruizfamily Is that part of the story featured in the video? Or is it sad because that reflection on it is not a media-endorsed, socially correct response to divorce? Most people who have endured it don't equate the average results of divorce with what is portrayed in the video, so a comment to that effect isn't exactly shocking.
@@ReflectedMiles its the opposite here in Ireland we force divorcees to stay with each other for two years before divorce finalisation.. Really bad idea leads to abuse n shit..we're changing it thank god
I really appreciate videoes like when military men and women surprised their children and family. Both of my brother and dad and uncles were In the Military
Those of us from the Vietnam era didn't even dare to wear fatigues in civilian society. We were treated like trash, so these kids today don't know how lucky they are not to have insults yelled at them.
That last hug opened the flood gates. God bless him for doing this for our country. We appreciate you beyond words. I found it amazing he could pull off these surprises too, it meant so much to those girls:)
This is what a family is supposed to be. As a single mom I can say the more people who love children the better those babies will be. I have been so blessed that my chosen family has loved my children like their own. Even with separation, they continue to love my babies and show up for them. This is a beautiful story.
Their video is really inspiring. They showed us that being miles apart wouldn’t mean that it is impossible for parents to attend the most special moments of their kids. Congratulations to this beautiful cheer-leading twin who received a beautiful surprise from their coach.
I have to give both parents serious props for keeping it civil. Especially him being a step father. That is a great father. Prooves it goes beyond blood. He isn't those girls' dad. No matter what. Thats awesome
Hi all folks:i have watched this video so many times over n over time after time and every time my eyes get very moist-"IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL" AND I'M A "75YR/OLD" AUSSIE".
@@kellymcfalls1458exactly where his son at is I believe there is something more going on if you know what I mean he is only 13 years older than the twin girls.
It's nice see how much you love your daughters .I know you miss them when a really lots when your gone. Now while your home 🏡.enjoy them and have lots of fun seeing them also being with them too .It's nice to see your 📷📸📸.
Lovely people💕 so happy, I’m sorry mum and dad are divorced but it’s so nice to see that they are both just as loving towards all 3 children. Such beautiful girls I won’t be surprised if they end up starring in the movies🙏🏻🌸wishing lots of luck and love for their future🙏🏻💕😌
I am a Naval veteran. I don't have kids myself. I love to see stories like this as I know first hand what service families go thru. Great story girls. Good luck with you cheer careers. I am a devout Notre Dame fan but I will pull for Mizzou when I watch them play. Just as long as your not playing against Navy or my Irish. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Good luck girls and God bless.
I am grateful to say that I am a born again Christian and have been since I was 19.......these types of videos bring such joy as you see ppl being suddenly and unexpectedly reunited with loved ones and for those of us who are true born again believers and belong to Christ this is just a taste of the reunion in glory we’ll be experiencing! Oh how Joyous it will be to see our loved ones who have gone on before us as 1 Thessalonians 4 tells us that the dead in Christ are going to rise!!!!!! Hallelujah! And what a day that will be!!!!! But on the other hand we live in such a life that is full of uncertainties and sometimes bad unexpected moments! You might have had those unexpected moments such as perhaps you have just lost a loved one or perhaps are facing some fiery trial right now but just know that if you truly belong to Christ then no matter what you are faced with he promises he will never leave nor forsake us! In 2 Corinthians 12:9 Paul pled with God three times to remove the thorn in his flesh but instead God answered my Grace is sufficient for you and my power is made perfect in weakness! Look to the Holy Spirit who is your comforter and he will comfort you in all your afflictions! However if you don’t know Christ as your savior then it burdens my soul to think that you are headed for a terrible place called Hell where the Bible says the fire is never quenched and the worm dies not! And in that case you will be forever separated from the Grace and mercy of Jesus and unfortunately no surprise reunions then!!!!! Folks you are not promised tomorrow! If you want to know how to be saved from this horrible reality then please by all means don’t hesitate to comment right back so I can lead you to the savior! 2 Corinthians 6:2 clearly states “now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation!” And Hebrews 3:15 clearly states, “Today if you hear his voice don’t harden your hearts! It is not me but the Holy Spirit that I pray reveals to you the truth of his precious gospel......John 3:16 says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes on him will not perish but have everlasting life! V 17 says then V 18 says whoever believes on the son is not condemned but whoever does not believe on the son is condemned already because he has not believed on the son whom God has sent! Also Acts 16:30-31 what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house I am not threatening anyone but just warning them what will happen if they reject this precious gift of eternal life! Christ died a horrible criminals death! He was beaten brutally mocked spit upon and endured countless hours of torture pain for all of our sins! Ppl go to hell because they reject that pardon for their sins! And Jesus is saying to them in Matthew 25:41 depart from me you cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels! Hell was only prepared for Satan and his angels! It is not God who threatens anyone it is the craziness of rejecting the free pardon of salvation! It’s like if you’re in court you’ve committed a crime say you murdered someone! Now if you say to that Judge hey I know I’ve done a terrible thing of murdering that person but I hear you’re a good judge and so I know you’ll be fair to me...... the judge is going to reply well yes you’re right about one thing I am a good judge and because I’m a good judge I’m going to see to it that you’re punished and that justice is served! Well then all of a sudden someone you don’t even know comes forward and says you know what I know he’s committed the crime he’s committed and he deserves to go to jail but I really don’t want to see him go to prison so I’ll just go to prison for him so he can go free! So if you accepted that offer you’d be free to leave the courtroom but if you didn’t well you’d be crazy and go to prison yourself! Well that’s exactly how it was 2,000 years ago! He is God in human flesh and he came to this earth lived a perfect sinless life and even though he knew that we had sinned and because of our sins deserved to die miserably but he said no I don’t want to see them suffer so I will go and take their punishment for them! Even though he did absolutely nothing wrong still he chose to take the punishment for our sins so we can be set free from the power bondages and consequences of our disobedience to God! Romans 5:8 says For God commends his love toward us that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us! 1 John 2:2 says he was made to be the propitiation for our sins! And not just for our sins but the sins of the whole world! 2 Corinthians 5:21 He who knew no sin became Sin for us that we would be made his righteousness! The truth is if you had to get to Heaven by your own effort then you cannot do it! Because Romans 3:10 says there is not one that does good! No Not One! Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God! Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death! But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord! But the good news is Romans 10:9 If we confess with our mouth and believes in our hearts that Christ died for our sins then was raised from the dead we will be saved! V 10 For it’s with the heart we believe and it’s with the mouth confession is made unto salvation! God gave us 10 commandments to follow and we’ve broken every one of them! And because God is a good God he cannot allow our disobedience to him to go unpunished! Well then like I just mentioned above his son Jesus stepped forward and said no I don’t want to see them punished so I will take their punishment for them! And also like I said he died a terrible substitute criminal’s death for us on a cross so now all we have to do is accept that payment for our sins and we can escape the terrible wrath of God that is to fall on them who do not accept this atonement that was sacrificed for our sins! Praise the lord Romans 10:13 says Whoever calls on the name of the lord shall be saved! And 1 Peter 1:4 you’re an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you! Christ clearly said in John 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the father but through me! Acts 4:12 clearly states that there is no other name given unto Heaven or earth by which we must be saved as there is salvation in no other! Jesus clearly states that there is clearly only one way to Salvation and it’s him that’s it! There is no other way! God Bless everyone who reads!
Love the beauty of the reunion. Thank you Sir for your service to the country. And I'm really loving their dad! He's a great man for adopting and maintaining the relationship he has with his daughters!

😭 WELL PUT STORY TOUCHING PEEPS ON SOOO MANY LEVELS AND FOR DIFFERENT REASONS I'm in Australia there is hardly any cheerleading here although I luved it seeing it on the T.v as a kid till now ( * Almost Jealous* ) that my blood father and other peeps going through this too don't have the luv And abounds his kids, that dear man has decided to give to you & I CRIED IN THE MID PORTION AND NOW... AGAIN ! 😢😢...😭
Incredibly beautiful girls! I'm very impressed by Cody Kimberly's ability to connect so deeply with these girls considering their age when he came into their lives. It takes some very special kind of person to manage to do that. You know that if he didn't truly love these girls and has been above and beyond good to them, they would not love him this deeply back.
That was so beautiful. I can’t even manage to think about if that was me. These two are so beautiful and talented and I hope they keep doing what they love. 😍😍😍😭😭😭😭😭😭🤗🤗🤗
Great surprise for these young ladies, they knew when someone grabbed them and picked them up that only one person in the world does that, and it is Dad! These are special times, been there and hope they are all doing well! Semper Fidelis
