True story: In 2014 my mom died from breast cancer. I was with her every minute until she passed at home. A couple months ago I was driving close to a really dangerous intersection near my home. I hate this intersection. It’s an on/exit ramp for I-75 in Florida. I’m driving the speed limit headed toward the overpass/ramp, and I heard my moms voice plain as day, out loud. She said “Mandy, STOP!” I started braking and a Tesla shot off I75, seemingly out of control, and into my lane. Had I not started to brake, it would’ve hit me and my daughters at a very high rate of speed. So I’m a believer after that. I know my Mom is with me.

I've had a similar experience. And had I not been guided to do what I did (driving wise) I would have been not only dead, but probably decapitated! My "fight or flight" was on steroids for Hours after that near death situation, & I KNEW in my bones that my Grandfather Literally Saved My Life!!!

I absolutely believe we are watched over by our loved ones. One such incident involved whisper in my ear so clear and real that I felt the hairs around my ear move. The whisper was not my doing as I was in the midst of an attempted stranger rape and was fighting hard. The voice told me what to do and I understood instantly. Clear as day the plan was in my head and I followed it without hesitation. I escaped ! I've tried to explain how it happened to others but for most folks it's incomprehensible. Not to me! I Know! I have been helped several occasions in my life time and all I can say now is how grateful I am and how loved I must be! Ps. Hate that intersection too!😊

Your story of your mom gave me chills! I had a similar experience- I was driving a friends SUV on the NYS Thruway heading to her sons college soccer game. It was raining, the speed limit is 65 I was going slightly under due to weather. All of a sudden I heard a loud bang and could no longer break or control the car very well (her tire blew out and the metal pole that holds the two weeks together snapped - I luckily was in the right hand lane and heard my deceased mother voice telling my to steer toward the bushes and trees- anything that would bend and avoid the metal pole- it was the strangest thing - it was as tough she was above us or in the car with us even. We were fortunate to survive- the rain caused the ground to be soft and without the tire, the wheel well of the car scraped and sunk and it slid in the mud/soft ground. We had some injuries but my young son, my friend and I all survived. I couldn’t steer much to do what my mom said to do, but I remember trying to steer and hearing her voice sounding so calm and talking to me in that moment was something I’ll never forget. I felt her presence.

I was with my dad when he was in the hospital dying. Those last few days, I played Bob Seger for him over and over since he was my dad's favourite musician and just talked to him about my favourite memories. Just before he passed, I asked him to give me a sign to confirm once he got to his destination safely. My sister showed up and we said our goodbyes, and then he died. We called a cab to take us home and when we got in the back seat, none other than Bob Seger was playing on the cabbie's radio 🕊. RIP JHCV.

I experience the same thing as my mother died. There was a song too much planned in the funeral so we had to take it out. Later as we drove to her cremation, that song was on the radio. A year later my dad died. Sadly we weren't there. So as we drove to were he was, we again heard this song as we just were on our way. Never heard it again after that. I'm sure it was a sign. Greetings from the Netherlands. 🙏

My dad was on hospice back in 1994 and was in a comatose state for a few weeks before he passed away. On the day he passed he was holding his arm up toward the corner of the ceiling and I thought he was waking up. I called out to him and he never responded. He smiled and spoke in a very soft voice to whatever it was he was seeing before his arm dropped and then 25 minutes later he passed away. Then about 2 months later he came to me in a dream telling me how light he felt. He was flapping his arms like a chicken flaps their wings. He said he felt very light and it was wonderful. He also stated that he never had time to tell me that he left $5,000 in his top dresser drawer in his room for me, my wife, and 2 small children at the time. I woke up and told my wife that I had a dream about my dad. I then told her about the money he said he left so we both got out of bed and went into his room and opened his top dresser drawer. I took out all the papers and books, and at the bottom of the drawer was a white envelope with our names on it. I opened the envelope and counted out exactly $5,000 in cash. Needless to say I about passed out and ever since that day I have had a fascination with life after death. I know for a fact life goes on. My mom just passed away in her sleep on 2-4-23 at 91 and I took care of her for about 20 years after her failing health. The things that have happened after she passed is beyond amazing, but too long to go into here. Life goes on and I look forward to one day seeing my mom and dad again!

I was my wife's caregiver for several years. As her health slowly spiralled down, I went thru sever depression. Being a caregiver is the hardest thing I have ever done. I felt fully responsble for my wife's life and wellbeing. Crying is something I don't easily do, but one evening, while alone, I teared up and began to cry. My mother, who had passed away 3 years earlier, spoke to me in her typical stoic way and told me "You just do the best you can for her, keep moving forward, and don't look back!" Then, a few minutes later, my father, who had passed away 6 years earlier, spoke and told me "You're doing the right thing!" I have no doubts about afterlife.

Being a caregiver for someone who is dying is one of the hardest things to do in life. However, it is also one of the most rewarding. It strips everything away. You learn true selflessness. The world would be a better place if everyone did it at least once.

I'm unable to work now due to a physical disability, but I spent 17 years as a cancer Nurse, I saw many people die, some in pain and others who were very peaceful. One that really sticks in my mind was a patient who is a Christian, I'm also a Christian. This patient (similar to the patient described in the video) was unconscious and not far from death. I prayed for her, knowing that she was also a Christian, and her family had all said their goodbyes, and as I was praying I said to her that it was ok to let go now and go home to be with our father. Even though she was unconscious she smiled the most beautiful smile as she took her last breath. She died with a smile on her face

My mother passed away after a long battle with cancer. For as long as I can remember, when the weather was nice she would sit out in the backyard in a chair and drink her morning coffee. It was a daily ritual for her. She passed away at home one evening in December, surrounded by family and her beloved pets. One morning about six months after she passed, I was at her house letting the dogs out in the yard and I swear on everything dear to me I looked over and saw her sitting in her chair in the nightgown she passed in. She was happy and smiling and looking directly at me. I looked away for a moment and she was gone. I looked at that exact location countless times after she passed away, both before and after that day and never saw her. I truly believe it was her letting me know she was happy and okay and at peace.

My Dad passed in 2003 and I had to fly home cross country from his funeral in Destin FL to my home in Portland, OR. Flying into Dallas, TX, the pilot comes on and said alot of clear air turbulence will be encountered on descent and for the stewardesses to please take their seats. We descended without so much of a shudder. 2 hours later with same plane and pilot, the Dallas airport was surrounded by a squall line of T-storms and after waiting on the tarmac for almost 2 hours, the plane finally took off. The pilot then came on and said "folks we're gonna have to punch through this squall line and we'll talk y'all through this" - meaning it was going to be bad! Strangely, we cruised through it without a shudder and the pilot came on and said "well folks, don't know how in the heck that happened as we should have been tossed around like a cork but hey we'll take it". A few hours later, the pilot comes on and says "well folks I don't think we're gonna be 3 for 3 today as we have about 26 minutes of moderate turbulence up ahead over the Rockies all altitudes coming and going, so it's gonna be a rough ride and stewardesses please take your seats!" We cruised glass smooth for over 30 minutes until the pilot finally came back on and said '"well folks, what just happened was absolutely impossible as flights in front of and behind us at all altitudes are in the grinder right now - I've never seen anything like this in my 40 years of flying!" Upon approach into Portland, the landing was glass smooth without even the slightest vibration, so much so that folks were wondering if we were even on the ground! As the last one off the plane but before departing with the captain standing in the cockpit doorway, I said "hey Capn, that was one amazing flight and an even more remarkable landing - we didn't even know we were on the ground!" And he looked at me and said "ya know son, I can't take credit for that one - somebody else was at those controls! Only then did I realize that it had been my Dad the whole entire flight - a USAF career pilot who flew B36s, B52s, B-58s, and F105s - and who knew that I was terrified of turbulence. So with my eyes watering, I turned and saluted the empty chair at the back of the plane that was next to mine. I had missed Dad by an hour flying in but his final gesture of love and goodbye was that he safely delivered me all the way home down to his final landing. I will never forget that. High Flight and Rest in Peace Dad!!

I currently am 74 years old and have been a physician assistant since 1982. I never believed that the so-called “Near Death Experiences” (NDE) were anything but the twinkling of oxygen starved neurons in a brain… until on January 3, 2010, when a stranger accidentally shot a .30-06 bullet through both of my thighs, completely shattering my right femur/knee/upper tibia then obliterating my left femoral artery. Despite rudimentary efforts at making tourniquets, I completely bled out in 10 minutes. I then had dual NDEs of 5-6 then 8-9 minutes duration (no pulse, no breathing, dilated pupils, and cooling skin), witnessed by at least 20-30 people. Between the two NDEs I was sent back when my wife and I said our tearful goodbyes. During my NDEs I experienced overwhelming love and joy, and was fully aware of what happened. Yes, your “favorite patient” did reach out to share his ecstasy and joy; and we are blessed that you’ve shared these special moments with us. Than you.

So many amazing testimonies of life beyond this body. I was with my dad when he passed in 2004, I felt his spirit leave his body at 5am, as I stood with my hand on his head. Then I had a revelation as I looked at his lifeless body, that I had felt dad leave, and the body was just the vessel he’d been travelling in. I stood in amazement and quietly asked “what was that, was it dads spirit I felt just leave his body, or was it dad reaching out and touching me on the hand and saying “thanks for being there son”, or was it God reaching down and saying “thanks for being there?” . Then I heard a voice, initially not audible, but I heard it within me reply “it was all of the above”, then the sentence was completed with an audible voice which said “and the story of Jesus Christ is true”. Being a non believer, I was not expecting that. But I instantly began to follow Him. Thanks God. And thank you for your lovely testimonies.

Nice! The mere fact that God answered your questions. Not just answered, but He heard each and every question you had in your head, your thoughts. THEN He answered you "it was all of the above". He answered at precisely the moment you stopped with your questions. He didn't interrupt your train of thought. Guess what, prove that God hears our thoughts! Just saying. btw: if you told this story to another atheist. He dismisses it. Remind him, no way on earth would you have answered your own questions with "an audible voice which said “and the story of Jesus Christ is true”. Have him or her think about that. Try to dismiss that away.

I’ve often heard people talk about the miracle of birth, but I believe death also is a miracle. I was by my father’s bedside when he passed away. My wife had taken my mother shopping, so it was just me and his caregiver in the house. My dad had not opened his eyes for a couple of days. He had just been laying on his back with his face towards the ceiling. I told him it was okay to leave us; that we would take care of my mother and that everything would be okay. My dad turned his head towards me, opened his eyes, then turned back to look at the ceiling and took his last breath. It was a pure miracle.

As a Christian, some of those thoughts and fears of eternal torment can resurface in the darkest parts of my mind, but I know reasonably well enough that the god I believe in is a good, compassionate god who wouldn’t be so cruel as to punish and torture for a condition that none of us ultimately chose! That, and I learned that the concept of hell as we know it is pretty much non-biblical along with various other misconceptions that bad actors within the christian faith have instilled. I flew to Minneapolis to see my grandparents who were both dying at the same time, in the same room, in the hospital. It was late when I got checked into my room. My plan was to visit in the morning. During the night I was woken up with a strong sense of my grandfather and I saw a ball of light and felt him saying good bye to me. I told him I loved him and said goodbye. I am a retired respiratory therapist who did not believe in the afterlife. At the age of twenty six I worked the night shift and was on my way to a patients room at about 2:30 am when all of a sudden there was a strange electric kind of sensation that went thru me. My first reaction was that the person I was going to see had died and her soul energy went right thru me. I remember thinking " but you don't believe in that". I reached into my lab coat pocket , pulled out the patient treatment card , looked at her name and instinctively knew she was gone. When I reached her room I found that she had indeed died. Over the next few weeks other things happened that convinced me that we are spiritual beings having a human experience .

I saw a picture that was posted on social media that really captured his essence....I did not know that his actual service was occurring at the time while this was happening to me. I felt very strong emotions as I experienced my gratitude for him being a part of my life (and especially my daughter's). Suddenly I felt a warm, tingly, feeling like nothing I had ever experienced in this physical body (electro-magnetic maybe?). It was his spirit, and it went from a line just at my shoulders, up to slightly over my head. I heard him laughing in my skull, moving in a figure eight from one brain hemisphere to the other. It felt like pure joy/love (he had passed of 4 types of cancer, so this was a real relief for me to know). The experience changed my life. I know we are energy and don't die.....we are eternal.

The next time was when we were having a barbecue which she loved and was making her favorite meal, and i just came inside to the kitchen and i heard my son yell, dad look. My father died a couple of years ago, and I was glad to have been at his bedside during his final two days. He and I were always close. One of my siblings - an older sister - has an intellectual disability(used to be termed "slow learner"). He was always very protective of her, even though she lived on her own in subsidized housing. He always, always worried about her. My sister was unable to be at his bedside, however during his two days of being unconscious, I repeatedly whispered that I would always be there for my sister, knowing that this is what he needed to know. Then, when I sensed the end was near, I phoned my sister and held the phone to my Dad's ear. My sister told him she loved him, and almost immediately he took his last breath. I'm tearing up as I write this. It may very well have been coincidence, but knowing just how much he needed to know my sister would be safe, then hearing her voice, I always wondered if that's what he needed before taking his next journey. My sister still talks about it to this day.

We owned a calico cat for 20 years and on her final day with us she abruptly went into seizures in our home. We quickly put her in a wicker basket lined with a blanket and tried making a rush trip to the closest vet clinic. She only made it a block from the house before she passed away in my arms. She was later diagnosed with a build-up of fluid around the heart. So we had her buried at a rural pet cemetery owned by the vet who's clinic we'd taken her to that day. It was a beautiful large rolling hills property about an hour north of Toronto. We had a headstone made for her with her name and date. It took me about a year to finally visit the cemetery to see her final resting place. As I located her headstone in the 'cat section' of the cemetery off in the distance about 50-60 yards away near a forest treeline I noticed a calico cat emerging from the trees - and heading towards me. It beelined directly in my direction and walked right up to me, brushing against my pantleg. I reached down and petted it a bit - and then it turned and headed back towards the trees in the direction it came from. That was over 30 years ago and I still tear up when I think about that day. But despite my inherent atheism it's left me with an absolute conviction that there's some sort of afterlife or plain of existence awaiting us all. It wasn't coincidence that calico cat appeared at that exact moment in time, paid a brief visit - and then returned in the direction it came.

My wife died suddenly when she was 44 years old. Approximately a month or so afterwards I fell asleep on the couch and my wife came to me I presume in a dream and audibly told me everything was going to be ok and for me not to worry. When I "woke" I could smell the perfume that she always wore. It was like someone had taken the bottle and prayed it directly in my nose it was so strong. I believe God allowed her to come back to me that one last time to comfort me.

Unlike any thing I’d felt before. Later I was laying in bed crying myself to sleep when I hear him loud and clear like he was talking in my ear “It’s okay haley. I’m right here”. That was an awesome story that brought tears to my eyes. When my dad passed unexpectedly in 2001 my heart was ripped out. I cried for 2 solid weeks up until his funeral. After the funeral I was able to let go and the crying stopped. A few days later he came to me in a dream. The Sun was going down behind the trees near his favorite hunting spot and he said to me "Son I'm ok."

He was ao poorly my mum rushed him there. It was my first time to see that hospital i was about 17’or 18 yrs old. I overheard the doctor or was it a nurse sjo said the cancer has spread to the brain that’s ehy his condition is like that. I was ao heartbroken. I prayed to God that if my dad would be fine when he pass away. I asked for a sign. I looked inside the hospital corridor and rhe rooms. Usually there is a beon crucifix anove each bed so I asked for a white cross which wasnt common. I saw a door and I got curious. There was a garden and i walked outside and guess what i saw. A huge 3D illuminated white cross in the middle of the garden. I felt awe and relief at the same time knowing that God was listenig and my dad will be in Heaven.

When my father passed away on january 21, 2021, It was about 10 o'clock at night, and I went to take a shower. I knew my dad was dying already, but he was Kentucky, and I'm in California, and as I was taking my shower, all of a sudden, his spirit came and passed through me. It was absolutely amazing, and I knew it was my dad saying goodbye to me. It was not sad or scared it was a glorious feeling that he passed on to me. After my shower, about 10 minutes later, his wife, my stepmother, called me and told me exactly when he passed away, and it was exactly when I was in the shower and he had passed through me! My husband did the same thing when he passed away but the feeling wasn't as peaceful, and I wonder about that, but as soon as I got back upstairs after this happened, the hospital called me and told me that he had just passed away and it was just minutes before that he had passed through me when he died! When my daughter died over 30 years ago, I was warned audibly by the Lord that she wasn't meant to stay, and she did pass away just like the Lord told me it would happen and when the coroners went to do an autopsy they said there was no reason for her dying, and I told them that's because it was a spiritual taking. Jesus told me she was not meant of this world, she was not meant to stay, and that she was only meant to come in for a short time to be with me and then go home. He also told me that I was very strong and that I would be okay but I had to prepare myself. This went on for months, and as it approached closer to when she would pass away, of course I didn't know when that was going to happen, God's warnings to me became stronger and stronger, actually telling me to leave work and go home to be with her. She passed away a week later of unknown causes. This warning was not spoken to me inside my mind this was spoken to me audibly like people sitting in front of me but I could not see them. Jesus and God Almighty and the after life in heaven is reality! We are living in a non reality construct, merely a cheap xerox copy of what is really happening as this NOT our real home.

I had somewhat of a similar story when I was a teenager. I was sitting upstairs in my room around one o'clock in the morning when I heard my father get up and leave. Somehow I just knew his mother had passed away at the hospital, she was struggling with cancer for quite a while. Hi I had an experience similar to this. My mother rang to ask me to pop over as my father was in so much pain, and she didn’t know what to do to help. When I got to their house I put my RN hat on rather than my daughters, I was watching him trying to work out what could possibly be the cause of this pain when out of the blue a voice came from my right side and I recognised it as my late father in laws, who I had nursed before he had died six months previously, I even looked around for him. He said, your father has a large tumour on his lung that is growing and causing his pain and there’s nothing anyone can do for him. Yes I know there’s life after death.

The day my Dad passed away, at 97 years of age and after a remarkable life, I had a dream in which he sat up in his bed (he passed at home under hospice care), looking like the old man that he was. Then he stood up, and as he stood, his elderly appearance changed into one of youthfulness. He said, " You can tell the nurses to go home now. I don't need them anymore, I'm free." I had that dream the afternoon of the day he died, after taking a short nap. I didn't even think much about the dream until that evening, when my oldest sister called to tell me that our Dad had passed. Suddenly the dream and all of its implications hit me like a tidal wave and I just knew that he was in a good place. It gave me so much comfort even in the midst of my loss. I view it as a privilege that I was gifted this glimpse of his journey into everlasting life.

Approx 27 years ago. I was sitting quietly next to my (then) spouse at his grandmother's funeral, when suddenly, in my mind, I heard her, clearly and unmistakably, say to me, "tell Robert i love him". That was all. On our way home I told him what I had heard. He had been close to his grandmother, despite her many other grandchildren, and while he tried to not show it, her passing onto the eternal world was very hard for him. He later told his mom who completely dismissed my experience ( the woman didn't like me) stating her mother hadn't been present, but I know without question what I experienced; I know for certain I didn't imagine it, as it would never had occurred to me to even do so. Actually I was quite startled when it happened but at the same time felt honored that she spoke to me to communicate her love to him.

You need to be careful listening to spirits of the dead, even if they have a "positive" message. The Bible says they're unable to contact us, and we shouldn't try to contact them. I'm convinced that most/all of these incidents involve demons pretending to be dead loved ones. I've experienced this. They can imitate people who are still alive too. I believe you actually heard/saw things. I did too. What I'm saying is demons can be tricky. Very manipulative. My cousin committed suicide a while back. His sister (still alive) told me she saw him one day as a ghost telling her he's in a great place and wants her to join him. I told her that wasn't your brother. That was a demon trying to get you to commit suicide. Today she doesn't even remember the conversation with me, nor the visit from the demon.

My Grandad died in 1985 just before I turned 2 and so I've no memory of him. My mum was 27 at the time. In 1996 my Grandma was in the ICU after complications from a bypass op. My mum told me years later that her dad / my Grandad appeared in her bedroom (only his top half) and told mum something like " your mum won't be here forever but she will be alright this time". Grandma eventually pulled through and I don't know if mum ever told her this story. She never fully physically recovered and died 2009 in very similar circumstances. The day she died I visited the hospital with my parents, my Aunt & two cousins. We knew it was close and then from being very weak and struggling to breathe my Grandma whispered to me " seen as though you're all here I'll have something to eat". She'd not eaten for a long time but then straightened up and ate a yoghurt while we all shared some sandwiches. It was about 2pm. Shortly after someone prompted my cousins and I to leave for a while. As I left I turned and my Grandma looked me straight in the eye and slowly nodded. I held her gaze for a little and then left. We went to a seating area and I fell asleep quickly (we'd been awake most of the previous night) I can't remember the dream visually but just the feeling of something passing over me or past me. It was odd at least. I think my dad woke me about 3.30pm to say Grandma had died. In many ways it was a relief as she had suffered in hospital. Before she went in, I think she sensed that she wouldn't come out and had been very anxious about it. When she did die I think she was ready. My wife and daughter now live in Grandma's old house and occasionally strange things happen, we smell cigarettes - but I just get a sense of the mischievous. It's nice in a way

Two things I've experienced that I've never told anyone. When I was barely a teen. Both of my parents passed away a week apart. A day or two after they were both gone. I was lying down in my bed and heard my mother say we're both fine. A little later that day I felt what I would describe as. A static electricity cloud about the size of a human moving around in my room. The only thing I can imagine it was my mother's spirit. It stayed around for about 2 days. 2nd experience was when someone close to me was dying. The doctors said they had a few days left. The person that was dying joked that they would scare me when they passed. Well one night I was laying down and I felt someone pinch my arm. Of course no one was there so I knew. I looked at the clock on purpose to see when it happened. The next morning they told me that he had passed away. I asked them at what time and it was a minute before I felt the pinch.

She had reached a point where she had lost her job. A couple of weeks later I was a block from the office on my morning commute when I felt her presence in my car. Sounds crazy but I really felt as though I would look over to the passenger seat and see her sitting there. I even spoke to her saying "I can feel you right here, but I can't see you". When I arrived at the office I found out she had died of a drug overdose the day before.

This certainly replicates my daughter's life. She had severe depression and was put on all kinds of pharmaceuticals, which didn't seem to help, then when she could no longer get medications, she went to the street drugs, she had quite a few medical issues to deal with, but she was always looking for some means of relief, she was in and out of treatment over a period of years whi h briefly helped, but by this time she developed serious addiction to drugs, heroin, crack, any pain medications she could, at this point steal looking for relief. She told me shortly before she died, she said nothing was helping, she just wanted to be numb. She overdosed, was brought into the same ER that my son had been brought in earlier in the day with possible heart issues. The ambulance brought my daughter in unconscious, never woke up, she was on a respirator and my other daughter and I said a prayer with our hands on her, when we finished the prayer the machine flat lined and she was gone. A 20 year battle came to an end. No more pain, at her memorial service I chose two songs that I felt were appropriate at the time, SCARS IN HEAVEN, WHITNEY HOUSTON'S, I LOOK TO YOU. SHE WAS 43 YEARS OLD, AND A TRULY BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, AT PEASE IN HEAVEN. REST IN PEACE MY PRECIOUS JAIME🙏🏻🙌✝️🕯❤️

I lost a dear brother nearly 40 years ago and some weeks later, went to a psychic for a reading. She touched on quite a lot of things that really resonated. Messages for our mother, clear references to our father, but then I got the confirmation for me that he really was reaching out to us. The psychic said, “Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket”, what does that mean? She looked sort of surprised as she said it, and I was shocked because it was so personal. Well, my brother was 35 when he died, and I was ten years younger. But he taught me to play that refrain from Perry Combo’s song on my toy guitar when I was five or six. It was the only thing I ever played (and probably three or four times) and I hadn’t thought of this for years, so no-one had worded up the psychic, and I carry that memory to this day. Somewhere out there……..he’s waiting.

Around 2014 I had been in jail for a marijuana related offense, nothing serious, but while I was there I made a very special friend named Austin. Him and I both were given the chance to get out of the jail and work raking leaves at an old cemetery, while we were taking a break one day we saw a tombstone that said nothing but "Austin" on it, we sort of laughed at it and continued our conversations that were very much about life and philosophy, anyways, one day while we were in our separate cells he closed the door on his which puts it into automatic lockdown mode where you can't get the door open, well Austin had hung himself with his sheets on a pole that ran security footage wiring, the correctional officers opened the door and he swung out, face blue, and they put us all in our individual cells and locked us in, from inside my cell I could hear the defibrillator not working on him and it repeatedly said to "Do CPR" then OUT OF NOWHERE, I saw my cell door open and Austin walked in and rustled my hair with his hand and then he was gone and my cell door was back to being shut. Apparently, right then he had died, because of him I know we'll all be okay when it's our time, there's nothing to fear...

If it wasn't serious you wouldn't have gone to jail. What in the world is the importance of trying to soften the fact you are a felon who served time for criminal behavior against your own community?? Why not just tell your story? No one knows you. The importance is to who? Well you. Ah the stuff you read on youtube lol.

A month or so after I had lost my dad I was having a difficult day with it as part of the grieving process. I was worried that I could have been more patient with him during the last couple of years of his life. I was sitting in our living room by myself (my wife (nurse) was working afternoons and I was totally alone. I clearly heard my dad say "You did your best" which was something he said throughout his life and was his only expectation of how people take care of anything. I actually heard him say this, in fact I looked around the room as I clearly heard him say that......

When my father passed away, I was with him and on that exact moment I hugged him. Being a first aid helper I had to refrain myself from trying to save him at that moment... the moment he died, that very instance, there was a happy warm glowing feeling which I could feel passing through my body, from where I held him on his bed and it exited my body the opposite where it entered. I could feel it. It felt like a glowing warmth together with the feeling you have when it has been a very hot day, you're dying of thirst and somebody offers you an ice code coca cola... that same sense of ... relief. Relief. I don't believe in much, but that was truly out of this world.

My mother passed in 2001, October. I was lying in bed around 5 am a few years back and I heard clearly a voice in my room and it said “ Hi Sweetie “ … I was a little taken back . Was I dreaming? As I lay there I thought about that voice. I couldn’t quite recognize it but the only person that ever called me that was my mother . I hadn’t heard her voice in over twenty years but as clear as day that was her voice . She was there to tell me she was ok . I am no longer afraid of death as I near my 70th birthday.

My grandmother passed away just over a year ago. Two weeks before she died I had a dream that my whole family (wife, sons, dad, stepmom, aunt, uncle, my cousins with their wives and children and of course grandmother) were walking along a beautiful lakeside. We came up to what looked like a large wooden dock with multiple levels and built in waterslides like at a water park. My grandmother for the past several years struggled with glaucoma and had to walk very slowly which we were all used to adjusting with. We all reached a point where we all had to climb up these wooden stairs and I remember asking grandmother if she needed my help and she said "no" insisting that she could walk up the stairs by herself. She walked ahead of us but when we got to the top of the stairs we were met by my grandfather who passed away over a decade ago. I have never had any dreams of my grandfather before or since. I remember some interesting details. He always wore those guyabera type shirts and he made a point for me to notice that it was green but I haven't figured out why that was significant. I also remember him saying that this land is all for us. I went over to visit Grandma for the last time with my dad and aunt. We sat around and we all knew her time was done on Earth. We recited the Lord's prayer and she passed immediately after we said "amen." I knew instantly she went to be with the Lord and my grandfather.

The same feeling happened to me many years ago. My father, whom I did not get along with, came to me in a feeling of ecstacy and, like you, he said in a thought: "You know, I never went away, I've always been with you'. I have been eternally grateful for that time ever since.

Our family had a similar experience when my sister was dying. She was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. The doctors tried surgery but it was unsuccessful. After the surgery, she was on life support with no signs of any brain functions. We all knew that it was time and the life support was removed. She died immediately. Before the surgery, she had written a letter to my mother. It stated “I am in no pain. I feel like a butterfly on a summer’s day. I am free. I love you all.”

My brother died a few years ago from a brain aneurysm also. One day my whole family was at a place where we planted a tree and had a memorial plaque placed in front of it. There was a butterfly on the ground right next to me. My sister in law told me it was there and then said that some people say that butterflies are the spirits of passed loved ones. My mother came over to the butterfly and it let her pick it up with no problem at all. The butterfly stayed with us for a while and then flew away. I took a few pictures of that butterfly. For some reason about 6 months after this I felt compelled to really examine one of the photos taken of that butterfly. I even enlarged it and then to my utter amazement there in the head of the butterfly was a perfect image of my brother. It was similar to a framed black and white photo of him smiling. I have shown that picture to many people and I always get the same reaction from them. They gasp when they see it. It is so vivid and it has even made a few people I know re-examine their spiritual beliefs. That butterfly and many other spiritual encounters I have had over the course of my life leave no doubt in my mind that there is something really glorious awaiting us all after we die.

I've been serving God since about 1996. I was saved in a camp meeting as a kid and over time as a believer, you experience what I call, "Faith Builders" which are events that happen with the purpose of strengthening your faith in God. The first was my grandmother. She was always the one who would attend church but never was saved. She suffered a mild stroke and was hospitalized. One Sunday after church, my family and our pastor were going to travel up, and meet at the hospital and visit her. I was about 11 and I knew I wanted to see her saved more than anything. In our minivan on the way up, I knelt down in the middle row of that Plymouth Voyager, and I put the car mat over my head for privacy (lol) and I prayed that God would save her. I prayed probably around 20 min. When I finished, I knew she was going to be saved that day. We arrived at the hospital and I saw our pastor at the time. I walked up to him and he said, "Hi, how are you?" and I replied that I was fine, and then I told him, "Grandma is going to get saved today." He replied, "Well, that would be nice". We walked up to her room, and as we entered, we never got a chance to say anything. She threw her hands into the air and shouted, "I want to be saved, I want to be saved!". My pastor and my dad both turned and looked at me in almost disbelief. As a kid, I had asked God, I knew he heard me and faith took hold and it produced a result. Those of you out there praying for your lost loved one, NEVER and I mean NEVER give up because God DOES hear even in our darkest hour. He IS there and he DOES answer prayer. My grandfather, (her husband) was a very hardened man, and it took cancer for him to realize he needed to be saved. He went from being a very hard and cold man to becoming a loving person who would testify in church as to how God saved him. It was like someone flipped a light switch. I know they are in Heaven pulling for me and I can't want to see them one day! I have so many stories I could pass on during my time as a camp counselor, assistant pastor, etc.

I’ve got an amazing story. My mom had passed in her sleep sometime during the night. I worked midnight shift and I’d swung by the house to pick her up and take her car in for service. At first, I thought she was asleep, but when I shook her upper arm to wake her, she was ice cold. She was only 59. The following weekend, I moved back into my childhood home. That night while getting ready for bed, the bedroom door opened and my mom walked in. I yelled, “Mom?!” I was so surprised. She was wearing the dress I had picked out. She sat on the bed next to me and started to hug me. She kept saying, “Everything is all right now,” and “I love you so much!” She was an alcoholic and had really stepped up her drinking after my dad had passed away 7 years earlier. It had made her mean and bitter, and it had had a detrimental affect on our relationship. She hugged me so hard it hurt, and I told her that. She repeated the 2 sentences again, then faded away. I could smell her perfume in the air lingering for awhile. Her sister, my aunt, and uncle both lived to 85. My aunt was blind. My uncle had a major heart attack, and they took my aunt with them in the ambulance. He passed in the ER. They were very close. I told my aunt that I would take care of her. A month later, her grief was unbelievable and she took his Marine pistol and shot herself in the head. I was devastated. I prayed for months on end for God to forgive her for taking her own life. About 8 months later I was unlocking the door to my car in the driveway, and suddenly a loud voice boomed, “She is forgiven!” I was so relieved!!

My cousin had been more like a sister to me and from being a little toddler, I absolutely cherished her, we were both of us on the same wavelength; but she was the one who made the entire room light up whereever she went. Sadly she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and I remember telling her while she was ill that I have an exceptionally strong faith in an afterlife, although she firmly told me at the time that she did not.🤷 My cousin left this life in October 2022 while I was seriously ill in hospital myself recovering from a bowel obstruction, so I was unable to say goodbye to her. A couple of months later, my cousin came to see me in a dream for what I can only guess was so that we could say goodbye to one another properly. I can't really remember a lot of what we said, but I remember that we had an amazing hug goodbye, a hug that seemed to put me at peace knowing that she was happy and okay. I asked her if my mother wanted to see me, but she replied "no" and I can remember telling her that I was okay with that, I felt so calm during the experience that it was literally "out of this world."

My grandmother passed at 105 years of age and unlike most grandma's she was bitter and miserable and had outlived her husband and half of her 10 children and even a few of her grandchildren. She complained that God had forgotten to take her. She went into a nursing home at age 100 and visiting her was never pleasant so we didn't go often. The one person who visited her weekly was the local priest. Every Sunday after mass he was there. The morning of her funeral it was pouring rain and cold. We gathered in the church and her casket was brought up to the alter. The priest stood over her casket and the rain on the metal roof was so loud we could hardly hear him speak. Suddenly the rain stopped and sunlight shined through the church window directly on the priest and the coffin. An audible gasp came from all the people in attendance including myself. The priest looked directly into the sunlight and said "Well hello Rose, (my grandmother's name) glad you could make it". The sunlight faded and within minutes it was pouring rain again. It was at that moment I began to believe that death wasn't the end to everything.
