I only just came out as trans like 2 to 3 months ago. But I will say I was very slow and timid at first starting at first like 75% sure I wanted it, then the more I dabbled in my feminine side like make up and fashion the higher that number got now I'm happy to say I'm 100% sure its what I want. And your channel has been such an inspiration and hopeful for me. I dont think there is a word that exists to show my gratitude for opening my eyes and showing me I could be happy. I definitely feel you with awkward dates. I'm a very open person, been told I seem pansexual. I just feel like why limit yourself to possibilities. I'm seeing someone right now, the first date was filled with nervous communication. But as the dates progressed you loose that I also learned that she is super shy so it took her several dates until she opened up to me and now we converse more like friends than in a romantic setting. We are still into each other but we two are at different stages too, so maybe we may get married one day or just be part of each other's lives for a while. And that makes me happy. Kudos to you.

Great video. I am a crossdresser and married to a wonderful wife of 20 years that supports me fully. People don't understand how hard it is being Transgender, gay or even a crossdresser. Its nice to watch videos that puts a smile on my face instead of all the negativity in life.

You are absolutely beautiful I'm glad that you are being able to live the lifestyle you want to. People just have no idea the void that it causes in your heart when you are forced to be a way you don't really wanna be to fit into societies standards. I've actually been dealing with that many years myself with being both bisexual and having the strong urge to transition since I was literally a child but the only couple of times I've tried to confide in someone I thought I could trust it ended SO bad for me! So I have just kept my mouth shut and thoughts to myself ever ever since but as much as I try to lock them thoughts away in the back of my mind I still go thru very bad depression over it cause I have no one to confide in and if I was to come out and be disowned my my family I have no where to go. I am always happy to see people who have climbed that difficult uphill struggle and came out on top. Wish you a million congratulations and you are definitely amazing looking!!

I was reluctant to date men at first, I guess I assumed I would be a lesbian. I always thought of myself as bi-sexual, although I wasn't nearly as 'into' men as I was women. 2 years ago I met my boyfriend and we've been together since. Last week he proposed! 4 years after my transition at 58 yo, I am engaged to be married to a wonderful guy and I'm shopping for my wedding gown. My personal fairy tale is coming true! I now consider myself to be hetero, as I have lost my sexual attraction to women. Whatever I am, I know I've never been happier. Dreams can and do come true!

thank you i really loved your video and hearing your experiences. i wanted to share mine but i'll caveat this with that i'm a crossdresser not trans, but have dated men in a femme role and can definitely relate to your experiences, being attracted to women and men but only straight manly men, and especially my reaction to a beardy kiss the first time.. however the second time when i wasn't as shocked by the stubble i was able to stay much more in the moment and was really swept off my feet, it was the most feminine i'd ever felt, being held in his strong arms and kissed like that, i'll never forget it

I have asked a few of the female members of the team "so, how long do you think it's going to be before I say some derogatory comment about "men!"?" Can you talk about how you came out to people who knew you? How did you interact with people during your early transitioning process

OMG, When I first came out publically as trans, I was at my doctor's office and the receptionist asked me if I was going to like guys or girls now when I told her I was trans. She just straight out asked me which I was going to like. First, don't ask such personal questions of anyone, and second, it's none of anyone's business but me and whoever I decide to be with. Some people just have no manners.

pretty much all my dates ever have been awkward. never dated any guys though, flirted with a few online but never like went on a real date. maybe someday. right now just focusing on my transition, and my hobbies, and my future. recently switched from my hot hatch ford focus to a lexus gs, a used lexus gs, but still, it's so much nicer than anything i owned before. I had 4 mustangs, a 08, 12, 13 and 15, and I bought like all base models with no amenities and stick shift and slapping go fast parts on them.. same kinda with the focus, stripped down, hopped up hatchback... but i just got tired of having to brace myself everytime there was a dip in the road or a pot hole or a speed bump, and just stiff suspension nonsense, and no real creature comforts so even though the lexus is used and not the newest car I've owned, my last mustang and focus were both newer, it's still so much nicer, especially for a daily driver. fairly low miles on it, a few cosmetic issues with the wheels and a couple paint blemishes, but mechanically sound, I can get wheels and paint done cheaper than fixing blown motors and such. still got decent power though and rwd, so it is fun to drive, still not used to flappy paddles instead of a 3 pedal car but getting there.

Hiya Rachel! I have two stories to tell you. The first one is about cars in a relationship. I once shared a house with a married, older African American couple; they both worked but had low income, and I had even less income. Still though, I had a long term job (low hours and not great pay), a home (with them), and a working car (one of the smallest, least expensive cars at the time). The husband of the couple once told me he couldn't understand how come I was single. He told me that if I was a Black guy my age, I'd have had several Black women trying hard to be my girlfriend because I'm polite and nice, a hard worker, have a regular job and home, and most importantly because I have a working car. Well I'm a mostly White guy, and mostly met White people. During those years of my life none of the women I met that I was interested in were interested in me, and a lot of the reason they weren't was because I earned so little, had such a cheap car, and had to live in low rent places. That's when I learned that the sub-cultural biases toward dating are so strong and varied from sub-culture to sub-culture in America. The second story is that now that we're in Covid times, I rarely meet new people. On the few occasions that I have met new people it wasn't in any context where I was likely to meet anyone that I would be interested in dating. If I did meet someone that I'd be interested in dating, the situations most likely wouldn't have been appropriate to ask for contact info for a date. I'm surprised, but also delighted, that you've had the chance to date THREE times and three different people in recent months!

I just say to them that at this moment I don't know because I'm still baking. Because I've only had three relationships my whole life( all with girls) so I just don't know right now. And besides it's none of their business who I like.

I was guy #1 I was kind and gracious to my transgender girlfriend. We knew each other on Facebook. I was her first in many different ways. We enjoyed each other for 18 months, but their was no trust and being a survivor of SA trust is what I Need! I was ghosted for 6 months and there no closure. She also put my brake pads in backwards and I was a hard brake from a bad accident. Our relationship was complicated. I brought flowers to her job and took pictures she wanted for her other Facebook page that I was blocked from. I have been told that I am too nice and I don't know how to adjust?

Weirdest first date I ever went on was like end of November beginning of December like seven years ago, met up with the guy, he was a little nerdy kinda dorky, and so am I so that wasn’t all that bad. He was also pretty awkward... We met for coffee at a Starbucks or something and then he asked hey do you mind if we stop by the mall and I was like sure? Turns out he wanted to go Christmas shopping for his family... and ask me what I thought of his gift ideas... I was soooooo confused. He also kept saying things like “maybe next year I’ll be buying you a nice gift like this” it was super awkward. I wound up being like I need to go sorry. And leaving.
