There is very little meat that tastes as good as grilled Greenwing Real. I like to marinade in a 50/50 blend of buttermilk ranch & balsamic vinaigrette. I cut the duck breasts into bite size pieces, marinade for a couple of hours, skewer alternating duck and bacon piece. Grill to rare-medium rare-medium but never well done. Serve as appetizer or grill some zucchini, squash, onions and mushrooms for a meal. I've had people who hate duck fall in love with this version. Just one of many ways to prepare. Great video.

Here in West Virginia we don't have a great number of migrating ducks...but we do have large resident flocks (or dules) of mourning doves. We cut the meat from the breast bone and soak it in salt water for at least 24 hours. We remove from salt water and rinse in fresh water. We (usually takes half the time if wife is helping me) then dice the doves into small pieces and mix them with cream cheese. We then take the mixture by hand or spoon and fill a halved jalapeno, wrap it with a half strip of bacon, cabob it with a toothpick and place it on a cookie sheet (we usually have about 30 halves per tray), place it into the oven at 300 degrees until bacon is done. Once they have cooled to eating temperature we dip them in my wife's fantastic homemade ranch. GREATNESS

Amen and Amen! I preach it alot, His Commands are hinged on those two main Commandments. Cause Jesus even says in John14:21 "The one who has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. And the one who loves me will be loved by my Father. I also will love him and will reveal myself to him.” And when you look at how we ought to love GOD and our neighbors, His other commands are hinged and are being fulfilled through them. Skinny cooks...I ain't met very many that were good cooks. Lol!

Looking good Godwin... I have a small tip for ya with your toothpicks.. Soak them in Worcestershire sauce the night before or that morning and then they wont burn off and will add flavor when steaming into the duck breast. Soy and teriyaki sauce works too. Just food for thought. Thanks for the share Brother.

Hey Godwin my Sister was a big ole gurl and she was a great cook God Bless her soul may she Rest In Peace. You take that Duck Cut in to pieces flour, season with your Special seasonings and fry golden brown then get rid of excess grease and take some jalapeños cut in chunks and put in pan and cook down then add a little flour and fry till brown add little water to make ya gravy man it will make you slap ya Grandma, GOD BLESS YOU GUY’S.

I was bitten by a tick and contracted the Alpha-Gal Allergy to all Mammalian Meats. I'm going to make these with Turkey Bacon and hope they turn out tasty. I've never gotten to to Duck Hunt, but now with this Allergy I want to learn all about how to hunt ducks, geese and upland birds so I can eat well. Thanks.

Those pellet grills are pretty convenient and easy, I got one but they just don't give enough smoke flavor even with the smoke tubes.
