Someone had me waiting an hour... then tried to say she thought I was getting something else.. then she said couldn’t give me what I wanted bc she had another client... this same stylist loss their shop & doing hair at home... now she selling bracelets.. life hit you FAST
She added on all them services to be nice. Then it changed once you told her that your a RU-vidr. She did all that to get more money then had the nerve to ask how much you make and that she wanted her daughter to be famous. These so called stylist may have talent but lack respect for others, customer service skills and are MONEY HUNGRY. I don’t care how good of a stylist/hairdressers you are or how long you been doing it. If you lack common courtesy, and professionalism surrounding your craft; you shouldn’t be doing nobody’s hair. I call these “stylist” back porch/ kitchen grown hair dressers. When you go over someone’s house they feel like they can treat you any other way, because it’s their house. They don’t know how to act once they get into a salon.
Bruh as someone who goes to cosmetology school, when the hair is too porous (too dry) doing a chemical service on porous hair will severely damage your hair and potentially resulting in it falling out! But the thing is honey, she WOULDVE KNOWN YOUR HAIR WAS TOO DRY AS SOON AS SHE STARTED like bro- she should’ve let you know FROM THE START! The moment she took your hair out of the bun she should’ve told you that doing a chemical service on porous hair will result in severe damage plus, HOW SIS GON REALLY OFFER YOU EXTRA STUFF DURING HE SERVICE AND NOT BEFORE???? “The whole situation was just ghetto” shoot I heard that 🙋🏾♀️

Nah that’s what they do. They’re scammers. The lady that did my hair acted like everything was free. Gave me the worst treatments ever. Shit I could’ve done at home. Then she just added it all to everything despite going over it through text and giving me a different price. My hair came out so ugly. She literally braided some upside down, made the parts too big, and then caked this white ass edge control on
$110 is cheap for all those services she did. A wash, Conditioning treatment, steam treatment, hair color rinse, blow dry , flat iron styling and clipped her split ends. That sounds like $300 worth of work here
Omg I just realized something! I bet she tells her new clients the hot water story if they try and book on a Tuesday for the discount. That way she just reschedules them on another day so that she can charge full price. Did this just go without saying or am I a master mind? Lol Your hair came out nice tho
First clue. She was available the next day. Someone who's good with hair and known for it, will never have appointments available that fast. I am a white girl with very odd hair. Thats what the pros call it. I have mixed texture and about 4 different curl patterns. Every time I move I have to find someone who can work it. I search yelp, I ask on local pages. I always end up at a going to someone who's booked out for weeks, and if I love them I know I have to rebook weeks out. I've not used a salon in years, I end up going to someone's home due to them knowing what they are doing. The reputation is key
“Unprofessionalist” (not stylist) like this needs their license taken, customer service classes and they behind whooped. Great story time but stuff like this is why I do my own hair.
It’s clear she thought you were a push-over. From the time she rescheduled you she knew she could say and do anything to you. You should have checked her a$$ from the start. If you had demanded that you still wanted to come Tuesday, or even refused her other “favors” and stuck to what you originally came there for she would have realized you weren’t a pushover and would have respected you and taken you more seriously. Trust I used to be the “nice” type but that doesn’t work and especially if I’m giving you my hard earned money!..Oh no baby you gon do what I want!
Right cuz I use to fall for this but I learned real quick. Whenever they offer something, I quickly ask the price if I don’t know it already. And I’m never all smiles and giggles with people in salons cuz I want them to take me serious so they won’t try me.
chile, luckily my stylist cares more about my hair than my money, if i need a deep treatment or a trim or anything to help it grow she would spot it before i do and get to it no questions asked. stylists that you dealt with irritate tf outta me 😭
If I have one tip that helped me it would be to cut the lace right at the wig hair line no further no more, if you leave a quarter inch it’s so much of a give away.
why don’t stylists understand that their business is 100% their clients! you gotta be professional at all times bc if u treat one client bad it’s gonna be a collateral effect! At least you left looking cute asf 💞

Honestly they will charge you extra if your late and don’t even get me started on the deposit but will have you waiting for 3 other clients to finish they hair when you arrive and sometimes they will come late as well this is why I’m doing my own hair half of these stylists some frauds
