I think ppl should only pay a deposit until their satisfied with the wig after it is installed just like braids …..I’m just now getting into wigs so maybe that’s a big no no but this is ridiculous!!

I just started the story time BUT when you said really wanted to get your hair done but your regular stylist was booked reminds me of when I didn’t wanna wait for my stylist to get my frontal done, I went to somebody else and my whole frontal fell off in a week😂 I think my lesson was it pays to be patient😩

Man i had a lash tech that i went to for multiple sets. I hit her up one day, very respectfully. literally said “i don’t mean to be an inconvenience..” , asking if she could please fix the corner of my lash because the right one fully came off. she never responded and i never booked with her again. Also she would come late for appointments all the time! They don’t care it’s so annoying

I booked on styleseat after years of national, we before I had a professional perm my hair, didn't have it because I couldn't decide on a style, after about two weeks I wanted to look really nice for an event, but the stylist was not available so this is when I did the fatal booking with stylesteat. I decided on the cutest pixie for me. I get there on time , she was late, I sit in her chair and once it was time to cut I felt some tugging, please understand I have fine hair naturally and much softer relaxed, so I didn't understand the tugging. It didn't dawn on me that she kept the mirror hidden, long story short at first the Hair Doctor did a real cute job, but a day later the reason for the tugging my hair was completely chopped to the point I was depressed. Warning The Hair Doctor in Baton Rouge is to be avoided, your hair may experience a CODE BLUE.
From now on if your stylist on vacation . U better off get a closure wig and rocking out until she comes back or getting some braid cuz ppl stay scamming you girl . Cuz a 1000 dollars I’m taking you to small claim court n on top of take i would been sue for emotional distress and inconvenience.

usually when you buy a wig for the first time from the same person your getting the install from the first install is free since you bought a pricey wig from them. idk i see many people who have their own wig business they offer it

Ehhhh a lot of these shops are not good either. Besides using a harsh chemical that they are not suppose to use, they are unsanitary even though they are supposed to be licensed. It is about vetting these people so you get the quality service. You can't be trusting just anybody.
Definitely on your side . You should have gotten a free install since the wig came off after a day , she shouldn’t have charged you for a new one . But also as a stylist , I should say it’s a good idea to go back for the redo without removing the wig yourself because it would really seem like you just want to switch back to the other wig coz you changed your mind , it’s just best to let her see it and remove it herself so she can see it’s because of her bad work that you need it changed Because there are people who change their minds about a style and pretend there’s a problem , we do meet people like that

No frl! I hate when they customize the hair the day of having me stay there even longer! I booked my appointment at a certain time for a reason 9am and how am I here by 4pm?! I have to pick up my brother from school. She pissed me off and switched from using ericka j to using hair store glue and wants me to pay $200 and I had to wait 40mins for her boyfriend to go get new glue and when I got there she was like “I forgot” like 🤨huh?? Stopped to smoke a blunt?? Her work is good she’s just very unprofessional. Cussing at customer service while doing my hair? Ik people have things to do but Wth?
I do my own quick weaves at home for around $20 (hair and everything) and it will last me 2-3 weeks. For $800?! That hair style better be red carpet ready and it better last for at least 3 months if I wanted it to. It should be almost bulletproof for that price. But, you said it only lasted a few days? That's unacceptable. I have never heard of anything like that in my life. For all the money you spent for her to install your wig, she didn't treat you like you should have been treated and therefore lost a GOOD client. It's her lost, not yours LBC.
